Cefalu: On the northern coast of the island, 75km east of Palermo.
Cefalu is an enchanting, small fishing town that looks out over Sicily's dramatic northern coastline. It is one of the prettiest towns on the island, nestled between the azure waters of the Mediterranean and a huge rocky crag. The town has retained its Medieval appearance with its winding, cobbled streets and tall, narrow terracotta roofed buildings. Cefalu's skyline is dominated by a magnificent, imposing Norman cathedral which stands in the centre of the town. Although close to Sicily's capital, Palermo, Cefalu remains unspoilt and tranquil making it ideal for couples and families of all ages who will appreciate a relaxing holiday amidst layers of history
