This property lies amidst olive groves at 400m boasting a spectacular view of the Valdarno Valley and is at the door to the Chianti. An ideal place for relaxing and enjoying country walks while delighting in the beauty of Tuscany, it is also the perfect starting point for daily drives to nearby Siena 35km, Florence 45km, and Arezzo 35km, or for a shopping spree to the factory outlets of Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi and IVV Glassware in very close proximity. Lay down under an olive tree with a book or fall asleep in the shade of our fig trees. Relaxation while on vacation is the keyword! A good mixture between touring around and 'doing nothing' is what every tourist needs. We produce our own olive oil and are happy to share some with you!

If you are looking for a place to "re-charge your batteries" Casa Falcioni is perfect. You will enjoy a wonderful view, sleep soundly in the quiet surroundings, yet you are close to Florence, Siena, San Gimigniano and many other exciting places. Tuscany at its best! The property is clean and well cared for, your hosts helpful and cordial - they know how to make you feel welcome. The Chianti Hills are quite different in Spring with all the flowers and in Autumn with the vineyards full of blue Chianti grapes, so try both seasons! Casa Falcioni in Cavriglia is a place you will always come back to.

Charming home in a beautiful, relaxing countryside

I've visited Tuscany several times now and always stay at Casa Falcioni. It's located in the relaxed country side of Cavriglia about 40 minutes from the Florence airport so you are away from it all but located relatively closely (short drives) to the rustic and charming towns around the Chianti region.

The owners, Tanya and Silvano, maintain the two apartments and the extensive olive grove impeccably and the room's windows and doors open to an absolutely gorgeous view of the valley below. My favorite feature of the property is the long winding driveway to the house from the country road. You are not close to the street and as you drive the wooded path you begin to feel as though you are being transported back in time to the old world.

Although there is a lot to see and do in the surrounding areas, my favorite way to start the day was to wake up early in the morning and watch the sunrise breaking over the distant hills with the subtle sounds of a rooster in the far off distance. Words can't describe the feeling. This is truly a charmed location.

I love Italy and plan on going back many, many more times. When I do, I consider Casa Falcioni my home away from home. Tanya & Silvano's welcoming nature made us feel comfortable immediately. You will enjoy visiting Italy even more when you stay with them.

Owner's Response: We are located approx. 600m from the main road so there really is no noise. On the other hand, within 20 minutes walking time/6 minutes driving time, it is possibile to be in the town center where all necessities and more can be purchased. Bakery, restaurants, shopping, cafès, bank, pharmacy--you name it and we have it. Well, almost! Cavriglia is a comfortable town great for all ages.

Wonderful Tuscan Experience

When we drove down the olive tree drive way we knew we had made the right choice in coming here. We were warmly welcomed and felt immediately comfortable in our cute and very clean apartment. The view---WOW the view--took my breath away. Sometimes we just stayed on the terrace and relaxed and other days we toured the Chianti, Siena, San Gimignano, Florence and many of the smaller not so known towns close by. On a few occasions we just walked into town for a drink passing the olive trees and vineyards further down the dirt road.
We will be back and thank our hosts for a great time!
Owner's Response: Our family has made Casa Falcioni its home. We live in harmony with it and its surroundings. We hope we have the chance to share this with you and hope we'll be able to greet you as our guests very soon!
