The main family bathroom includes a walk-in shower and full size bath; the large shower room also benefits from a walk-in shower. The comfortable open-plan living area includes a modern kitchen area, a dining area and lounge area with a large fire, inset with a log burning stove. Externally guests have the use of a 12m x 5.2m swimming pool, Grand Terrace, garden and orchard. The house has full gas central heating making it ideal for an autumn and winter break.

Local Activities

The area surrounding Caprese Michelangelo is rich with natural and historic gems, which are often overlooked by the average visitor to Tuscany. Casa Rosa is 100m from a national walk route and a short distance from the National Park. Local guides can provide guided tours of the surrounding countryside once rich in silver and cooper deposits. As well as providing an excellent environment for walking the surrounding hills also provide many of the local people with a wide range of produce including mushrooms, truffles, chestnuts and wild game, many of which can be enjoyed in the excellent local restaurants. Oil and wine tastings are available at the local oil mill - one of the oldest mills in Italy. In late October/early November guests can enjoy the first pressings of the olives, with a glass of red wine in front of a roaring fire.

Photographers will benefit from the beautiful spring and autumn light and the range of changing colours as summer moves into autumn, and the land becomes a carpet of golds, reds, greens and browns.
