Approximately 15 Km from Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino and 500 metres above sea level, this property has been restored to a very high standard whilst maintaining the mystic atmosphere of the monastery. There are eight bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, a guest bathroom, a double sitting room, two dining rooms and a private lake with pontoon ideal for swimming. There is an impressive courtyard with a well in the middle where guests can breakfast and lunch under umbrellas and relax on loungers.

  The maid/cook is the game-keepers wife and, if required, can sleeps on premises. If required, she will also provide lunch and dinner, at 10 Euros per hour plus shopping expenses.
  A welcome dinner can be provided at 35 Euros per person including wine.
  
• A refundable damage deposit of 2.500 Euros is required on arrival and can be paid by credit card.

Badicroce is exquisitely furnished with period furniture. There are two large sitting rooms with settees and comfortable armchairs for a large number of people. There are two dining rooms, one formal and one smaller with a large fireplace. All the lovely bedrooms have modern bathrooms. There are 8 en-suite bathrooms, one with a shower, the rest with baths. There is an extra guest bathroom on the ground floor. Two bedrooms have a double bed, five have twin beds and there is a small single bedroom. There is a large fully equipped kitchen and a separate pantry. Kitchen equipment includes a microwave, two stoves, a professional sized ham slicer, etc. There is an incredible amount of space in this property, there are large corridors, landings, halls, extra rooms for luggage and where cleaning equipment is stored, all spread out over two floors. The internal courtyard is charming; it has a central well, flowers everywhere and there are loungers for relaxing in the sun.

Badicroce is a Benedictine monastery dating from the XIIth century. The church was almost entirely destroyed by the Ghibelline in the 14th century and later rebuilt on the ruins of the ancient on. It holds a stupendous and original crypt which is one of the many jewels of Badicroce. The estate offers lovely walks through woods, up and down hills, over fields. It is not uncommon to come across wild boar, mouflons, deer. The lake also is the home of various rare duck and other wild fowl.

There is an internal phone, a fax and a connection for laptops. These services have to be paid extra and will be charged up at the end of stay. There is also satellite TV with a DVD player and a CD stereo. The gate to the property has a remote control electric system. Guests will be given a remote control activation key.
