It is made up of one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower, a living room with a sofa bed wich sleeps two and a kitchen area. Ceiling fun in the bedroom. Hairdryer in the bathroom. This apartment has the exclusive use of a patio in a shared garden. There is a barbecue.

La Canigiana is only 12 Km. from Florence. CAMING FROM HIGHWAY A1 Take exit Firenze Certosa then turn left direction Firenze. At the traffic lights of Galluzzo follow the sing to Montespertoli. After 6 Km, at Chiesanuova, turn right direction Romola. After 1 Km , on your left there is La Canigiana. CAMING FROM PISA Follow the sing Firenze SGC then take the exit Ginestra Fiorentina, turn right direction Cerbaia , at Cerbaia turn left again following the sing to Firenze , after 1Km turn left to Romola. Cross the village and after 2Km, on your right, there is La Canigiana. COMING FROM SIENA: Take the Siena -Firenze (4 corsie) ad take the exit San Casciano V.P. Follow the sign to Firenze until you find a roundabout, then take the first exit to the right following the sign to Romola. When you arrive in Chiesanuova, turn right direction Firenze and left to the second road direction Romola. After less then 1 Km on your left there is La Canigiana.

An excellent location on a peaceful, well maintained property in the hills overlooking Florence, which is only 8 miles (about 15 minutes drive) away. Excellent swimming pool and views of Florence from the garden of the property. Well positioned to explore the prominent Tuscan tourist attractions. In addition to being on Florence's doorstep, Siena, Lucca , Arezzo, San Gimgagno and Volterra can all be reached within an hours drive. Perugia , Assisi and other Umbrian attractions can also be comfortably be visited from here.

Top recommendation : Drive into Florence in the evening to enjoy the stunning sunset and panoramas from Piazza Michel-Angelo.

Lovely stay at La Canigiana

My girlfriend and I had wonderful time at La Canigiana. We received a very warm welcome from Alesandra and got all the information we needed about places to visit. We also got loads of tips on the best ways to go and were to park in Florence, all little things that made our stay really relaxing and enjoyable. It really is the ideal place to stay in Tuscany because it is a short drive into Florence yet places like Pisa, Lucca and Siena are all within an hours drive. Whilst the location is close to Florence you are still in the countryside and can completely get away from it all, especially with the beautiful pool. All together we highly recommend La Canigiana.

overfullfilling expectations

When we arrived teh first at the lovely appartments, situated on a hill near Florence it could not have been better: We were greeting by Alessandra, the landlandy, showing us the rooms the kitchen and a beautifully prepared basket, so we could sit down on the terrace and have our first cup of coffee 15 Minutes after arrival - this is how holidays should always begin.
The house is well equipped and if you rent both appartments you have plenty of space for 4 - 6 persons. 8 could be a little tight. The location is perfect for short trips to the surrounding cities in Toscany and within 2 hours you can reach almost anywhere in Toscany using the close by motorways. We had a lovely time and now, with the pool built a few years ago, which is solely used by the guests and sometimes the family there is no excuse not to have a wonderfull time. We returned twice already and we will shurely go back again.
