This enchanting 200sqm apartment is located in a 17th century building, in the heart of the renaissance historical period Florence. It is as central as you get. It is 100m from the Duomo (main cathedral in Florence) and 100m from Palazzo Vecchio/ Piazza Signioria, also the uffizi gallery. Right in front of this 17th century building is the Palazzo Borghese and next to it on the right is the medieval period building, old authorities headquarters which has been converted into the museum Barghelo. The apartment is located 50m from the Badia, oldest convent in Florence, 60m from is the beautiful square of Santa Croce with the outstandingly beautiful cathedral Santa Croce. Which is the area, where the apartment neighbourhood takes its name from. The area was inhabited by the old noble families of Florence, specifically known as the Ghibelines, which gives the street its name. This street is very close to many exclusive shops, and also flea markets, such as the Mercato di Sant'Ambrogio.

Notes to the rental rates

• The rates are inclusive of 3 times a week cleaning at 3 hours each cleaning session, there is also final cleaning charge of 100euro to be added to the rate. For additional maid service it costs10 euro an hour for a minimum of 3hours. Arrangements can be made for a cook if you require one, and also a car and driver all at extra charge.
  
• To book or make reservation a 20%non refundable deposit of the total number of nights of your stay will be required and the balance will be paid on arrival .Deposit can be made by bank transfer, a bank draft or western union transfer or pay pal and balance can be on arrival by cash travellers cheques or a bank draft. SORRY ABOUT ANY INCONVINIENCE BUT I DONOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS.
  
• The minimum stay is 4nights. There is also 60euro final cleaning charge.

This 200sm spacious apt is composed of a 15sm entrance hallway. The hallway leads into a 60sm living room dining room with 5mt high ceiling and 4 huge 2.4m cathedral windows. The living and dining have been painstakingly decorated with a lot of style and comfort mixing both Florentine with African art pieces most especially paintings from different parts of Africa with precious Italian pieces which blend perfectly well creating a very warm environment. The living room leads to a corridor that takes you to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the bedrooms are very spacious and have been decorated with a lot of warmth and comfort. One of the bathrooms has a Jacuzzi, while the other bathroom has a shower cabin the bathrooms have been decorated in a very modern minimalist style so it feels very clean and uncluttered, the master bedroom has a loft study and it has a sofa bed, with 2 original 14th century beams running across the entrance hallway also leads into a 3rd bathroom with a steam sauna.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a table to sit 4. It is fitted with a double door American fridge and well furnished with dinner set for 12 in bone china and a complete set of wine glasses and stainless steal cutlery. The kitchen has a large cathedral window over looking the Barghello National Museum, very well lit. The whole apt is bright and airy with a lot of natural light coming in through the cathedral windows it is very difficult to describe, for you need to experience it to understand. I am looking forward to welcoming you, for this is a great experience in the historical centre of Florence.

Car service for day trips to in and out of Tuscany can be arranged with a driver and a car. Day trips by car could be arranged to the vineyards in Chainti, also trips to and from airports and also trips to the designer outlets could be arranged these are all at an extra cost. Prices would be furnished on request. The checkout time is 11am and arrival time 3pm(if the apt is free from the day before then check-in can be earlier)
