Splendid apartments, Lungarno ( 250 sq.m) and Vespucci (70sq.m) situated in a beautiful and important 19nth century Palazzo along the Arno River. From the River Arno you can admire the entire city from Piazzale Michelangelo, down to Ponte Vecchio through the Lungarno which goes to the city. With a nice walk along the Arno River you can easily reach all major museums and monuments; it certainly offers you the opportunity of visiting Florence exclusively. Restaurants, Pizzeria and Trattoria are nearby together with 2 supermarkets. The Cascine Park is at two minutes on foot and every Tuesday morning there is a big open market!

We have just returned from Florence and had a great time. It was our first visit to Florence and we couldn't have chosen a better area to stay when we got the opportunity of the apartment. Last minute cancellation meant we managed to stay where we had initially set our sights on.
What an imposing sight as you turn the corner and the area is so quiet. Beautiful setting and only 10 minutes from centre of town and bus/train stations.
We were met by Lucia and she was very welcoming and showed us round the apartment and how things worked. It really was like a home from home. My son loved the wireless internet! We had a problem with the internet connection (our laptop and not the WIFI) and Lucia's husband came long and sorted it. Luckily we didn't need to hassle her alot as everything was to hand but it was nice knowing she was to hand of we needed anything.
I have recommended the apartment to a few friends and hope to visit there again in the future.

A Wonderful Anniversary in Florence

We came here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and could not have chosen a better place to stay. The photographs and description do not do this apartment enough justice - location was excellent (just far enough away from a very busy town centre, but only 15 min walk to the heart of Florence), exceptionally clean and well maintained with everything you could possibly need during your stay (iron, hairdryer, well equipped kitchen - all you need is personal toiletries) and our host, Lucia, we could write a little book on how kind and helpful she was from the moment we booked to stay here.
On arrival, Lucia, was very welcoming and spent just enough time with us to help us settle in - she even gave us her private car parking space within the courtyard. Lucia pre-booked all our requested Museum visits which meant little or no queueing (a major bonus) and also booked us a table at a wonderful restaurant 'Nanamuta' which is located at the back of the apartment - highly recommended. Using a street map from Lucia, on which she circled several areas of interest and we would never have found otherwise - eg, an annual art market of handmade goods from all over the world where we spent the whole day, we had a fantastic time in Florence and it is all thanks to Lucia's helpfulness and kindness.
One of the highlights has to be the wonderful meal Lucia cooked and served to us on our first night in Florence - it was excellent.
We cannot rate this apartment and Lucia highly enough and would definitely stay here again and again. Thank you Lucia.

Very nice and clean apartment. Lady owner very friendly and helpful.
It is a nice and easy walk along the river Arno to the center.
Car park arrangement possible. It is a quiet place and the important things are in walking distance.

Perfect Experience.

Fabulous, sunny apartment in an historical building. Everything as described in listing. Ultra clean! and charming. We are a mom and teen daughter and it was perfect. We much preferred this residential location to the very center of town, 10 min. walk, but on the same side of the river. It's in an upscale neighborhood and on the first day we found our daily market, patisserie and gourmet deli. The apt. is a nice size one-bedroom, with a palatial feel because of the high ceilings. The kitchen is small, but has everything needed, and we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. We found the apt. to be quiet. The television has no English channels and the DVD deck is PAL, so unless you speak Italian bring a lot of books. The laundry is washing machine only with a drying rack, no dryer. The owner is incredibly lovely and the authentic Italian dinner she cooked us was an unbelievable, memorable treat. Overall a delightful experience!

We were impressed from the very beginning, when massive gate slowly opened showing the way to the courtyard.
Everything in the apartment description turned out to be true. Pictures display the actual current apartment condition. It is very spacious and light, and very tastefully decorated. Our 4-year old liked it at once and eagerly agreed to sleep alone in the lounge.
The property is located at the edge of residential area, and is easily accessible by car, public transport or on foot. Across the river there is a playground which we regularly visited on our way to the city center. There are many local shops along nearby Via Pallazzuolo street.
The apartment was crisp clean on arrival. Kitchen has everything you may need except food. Also be sure to bring shampoo, soap, etc. with you for the first evening. All electrical and gas equipment was in excellent condition.
Landlady and her brother were extremely helpful and welcoming.
Really, there was no catch or downside except maybe it was a little bit noisy on weekday mornings because of residents going to work, but frankly, our 4 year-old did not care.
We would definitely stay there again and again.
