This charming apartment sets on the ground floor of a historic building, situated at Florence's Historic Center, 5 minutes walk from Piazza della Santa Croce and 15 minutes walk from the Piazza Signoria and Gli Ufizzi. It has been restored and converted in a adorable apartment, very well furnished and with modern facilities (air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher). It's very comfortable for 6 people with three bedrooms, one full in suite bathroom, second bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to cook a delicious Tuscan meal, living room (TV, DVD, CD player, WI-FI internet) and dining room facing the garden. A cot and high chair are available with no extra cost. The highlight is a private sunny garden with a table for al fresco meals and a private parking space. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a friends and family special reunion, this apartment offers you an excellent value for money and quality.

The market of Santo Ambrogio , the most characteristic food market in Florence is only at 5 minutes walk. It is a nice way to wake up in the morning, have a lazy breakfast with a true cappuccino or espresso and take a tour around fresh and exquisite season vegetables and fruits or local cheese just smelling the flower's newest aromas. All around, there are many restaurants and bars where local Florentini go for a quick coffee, lunch and dinner meals, with a vast selection of places running from wine bars, wooden oven pizzerias, local trattorie and famous restaurants. From there, you can also rent bikes to visit Florence everywhere you want to go!

excellent apartment

This apartment is truly as lovely as it looks. We stayed for a week in the spring of 2007, and it was beautiful. It is very well maintained, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and the dining area is great. The laundry was conveniently located in the basement.. The garden is also very nice. The apartment is situated close to Santa Croce, and about 10 minute walk to the piazza Signoria and Bargello. There is a nice market close by-- Christina would tell you about it. She was very helpful and reasonable. It is absolutely perfect for four people. Our only caveat is that the 3rd bedroom is really only a small side room with make shift beds. We made it work for 6, but it would be preferable for four people. There are no stairs to the apartment, (which is very unusual in terms of our experience with European flats) so it is nice if you would like to avoid a climb to your flat.

We were a group of five friends visiting Florence for the first time. The apartment was excellent - clean, warm and well equipped for us. Having two bathrooms was ideal. Christina was very friendly and helpful, organising a taxi to arrive in time for our departure. The apartment is well placed to walk everywhere, but is also on a bus route if required. There is plenty of choices nearby for eating and drinking. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would not hesitate to recommend this property to other travellers.

Great Location and Apartment

We had 6 adults, and were very comfortable. The 3rd bedroom is a bit small, but 2 twin beds worked out fine for us. The baths were great, as was the kitchen. We had wonderful weather, and spent most free time outside, in the walled, garden area. We could walk to all the sights, but even with a full week, we couldn't see it all. Incredible food wherever we went. Loved the market in the morning for cappucino & sweets, as well as for fresh cheeses/veggies/meats. Trattorias and Gelato everywhere. Florence was a wonderful experience, and staying here made it that much better. Christina, you were a wonderful host...thank you! Judi, Patte and Company

Great Apartment!

We in this great apartment for only three nights in early April, 2009. I wish our stay were longer as Florence was beautiful and the location of the apartment is great! We walked everywhere and enjoyed the area as it was quiet. The apartment itself is very nice and has everything you will need for a wonderful stay.

excllent apartment in great location in Florence

We loved this apartment. It was beautifully designed and very comfortable. It was very spacious, and easily accommodated our crew of 3 adults, 1 toddler and a baby. In a great part of Florence - close to Santa Croce and the local market. Walking distance to all the main sites (past some great leather shops on the way!), but far enough away from the hotels and tourist areas that we could enjoy a sense of the real Florence. We were greeted by the owner on our arrival (even though we were 3 hours late!). She was very helpful and even provided a bus map, and a cot. She was also readily available if we needed help during our stay. I highly recommend this aparment and thank the owner for her assistance in making our stay so enjoyable.
