This accommodation offers both: rural peace and quiet but also proximity to Florence. Three houses stand on the sizeable lawn, the middle one being the owner’s villa, behind which there is a smaller house containing the Tosca and Mina apartments. Casa Violetta, a small, separate villa, is a short distance away. These three units can either be rented together or individually. Both guesthouses together can accommodate a total of 12 people: 10 people in the 5 double rooms and 2 on sofa beds with 5 bathrooms. The houses have just been redecorated. They have stylish interiors and a high standard of comfort. The furniture and fabrics have been chosen with great care. Everything is of good quality and well made. In the design of the apartments great care was taken to ensure a maximum of room and privacy.

The Tosca apartment is located in the ancient part of the house - a medieval tower of the year 1200. It is equipped with TV (regional programs) and washing machine. Particularly characteristic is the brick cross-vault style of the spacious and bright sitting room. The striking pattern of the elegant olive-wood parquet floor adds a unique touch to the apartment. If Tosca and Mina are rented together they can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Our tip: although these are two separate apartments, they are also suitable as combined accommodation for a larger group. Meals could be taken together at the large table in Tosca apartment.

• The above prices refer to an occupancy with 4 people. Bed, bath and kitchen linens, water, electricity, gas, pool cleaning service, garden maintenance all included in the price.

• Security deposit, heating, additional beds, final cleaning to be paid in euros on the premises:
  Security deposit: EUR 250 per unit.
  Utility deposit (unused portion of the utility deposit will be refunded in cash on departure): EUR 50 per week for heating.
  Heating (if required): metered.
  Additional bed or baby bed if maximum capacity PAX is exceeded: EUR 80 per person per week.
  Final cleaning: EUR 100 per unit.
  Upon request and approval of the owner a late arrival is possible between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm at an extra fee: EUR 50.
  
• Reservations from Saturday to Saturday only durin middle and high season.
  Please note: During low season reservations are not limited to rental periods from Saturday to Saturday. Minimum 4 days.
  Daily rates (minimum 4 days) per bedroom: EUR 190 (heating if required: metered/final cleaning: included in the price).

Il Girasole - the garden

The gardens are immense: neat lawns surround the various houses; the lawns gently merge into the olive groves. Specially furnished garden sitting areas have been provided for each apartment. At the far end of the garden there is a lovely pool with a magnificent view through olive trees - across the valley to the silhouette of Florence, in the distance.

There is a restaurant in close proximity - just a walk down the hill. Girasole is an ideal starting point for going on excursions to Florence and the Chianti region. And after a long day filled with art you can return easily to your villa, where you can enjoy the rural setting in peace and quiet cooling off and having fun at the pool.
