Golf: In the surroundings there are two certified courses, where to move the first steps, train or compete, surrounded by wonderful landscapes. Castelfalfi golf club is just 13km far away next to Montaione. It covers an area of 66 hectares of farmland.It includes a driving range, putting green, pitching green and practice sand traps. The 18-hole par 73 course is 5,860m long. It was designed by the Roman engineer Pier Luigi Mancinelli. Fontevivo golf club is just 25km far away in S.Miniato. Starting from a small practice course it was later extended and is now being enlarged to become a regular par 31 course. Otherwise you can drive to the other golf courses, like the famous Ugolino golf club next to Florence, with its 18-hole par 72 golf course. It was designed in 1933 by the English architects Blanford and Gannon and later enlarged in the 60s.
