A romantic farmhouse in the heart of Chianti

Podere “Il Sorbetino” is a romantic old farming structure, recently remodeled, located in one of the most beautiful and untouched parts of Chianti, the ideal place to enjoy the magical atmosphere of country. The house is surrounded by vines, cypress, orchards, olive trees, from which is made home olive oil. Here you can forget stressing life of the city; you can take advantage of country life, live a slow holiday, visiting Florence and the artistic cities of this region, taking walks or riding on ancient tracks, to discover castles, little churches, enchanting landscapes, created from the fusion between human job and nature, attending at the olives crop in October. You can try the local cooking in the many trattorias, visit the celebrated “cotto” furnaces in Impruneta, leave for a plunge at the sea or at one of the lakes near Florence. When you return, in the evening, you can cook on the barbecue and have your meal under the little loggia, looking the sunset.
