Immersed in silence and surrounded by greenery, the farm overlooks the panorama of the valley with vineyards and olive trees which outline the hills. Surrounded by gardens and fields we offer an ideal holiday in a typical Tuscan farm. Our restaurant, only enjoying for our guests, offers all typical products of our farms: vegetables, fruit and olive oil. Our Chianti wine accompanies the genuine flavours of Tuscan recipes; once a week our special Pizza wood cooked. You'll find : tennis, pool, parking, laundry, playground, mountain bikes, bowling-green, ping - pong. Mannucci Family is the owner, someone of family will welcome you. During your stay Stefano, Monica and Laura are present and at your disposal for internet service, phone, fax, museum reservations, art cities' map and information , wine cellar visits.

We are located in the heart of Tuscany. 6 km from Montespertoli, 20 km from San Gimignano, 30 km from Florence, 45 km from Siena and 80 km from Pisa. To reach us by car : take the motorway A1 towards Florence and exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA. Take the superstrada FIRENZE - SIENA and exit at San Casciano Val di Pesa and follow directions for San Pancrazio and Certaldo. Pass the Village of Fornacette and drive uphill until you reach the main road. Turn over and after 50 m you will find LE PIANORE on the left hand side. The property is signed posted.

A holiday at Le Pianore is one of the best experiences you can have (in my humble opinion). Not only do you have fantastically furnished and maintained apartments but you combine that with the most amazing views of Tuscan scenery (anybody who has sat at dusk and looked out over the rolling hills and olive trees, a glass of wine in hand will agree with me).

A car is needed but with that you have the amazing cities of Siena, San Gimignano and Florence all within a quick drive.

The thing that makes Le Pianore that little bit more special than anywhere else I have visited is the people that run it. The welcome you receive is always a happy one. Often a special meal is prepared for all the guests to sit round the table as one big family, eating homemade food and drinking homemade wine (which is actually very good). By the end of a week there you will feel like part of the family. My family have been there about 7-8 times in the last ten years and that why we will keep going back.

One you have found perfection why look anywhere else.

Our Italian Home

Since 1996 and last stayed in 2007. we have been coming here for at least part of our main holiday (only missing 2 years) When we started we had young family members, now all grown and left the nest, and we all look on this as a home from home. We have always been made most welcom and especally Monica and Roberto (I am convinced if a Martian arrived - Monica would speak perfect Martian within the week) who prepare such wonderful food. The only downside is you do need a car to make the most of your time here, but apart from that we cannot think of anywhere better to go. If you have a young family they will enjoy the pool and swings, etc Teenagers can sit by the pool and look moody, as only teenagers can(but in their honest moments admit that they are enjoying themselves) and as for Adults the food the wine, the art, the history, the wine, the food, the people, and did I mention the wine. In San Giminiarno (a UNESCO World Heritage site) you will find the BEST ice cream in the world - I have decided that when I die and go to heaven - if its like Tuscany OK, if not I will ask to be rerouted to Tuscany and Le Pianore - We are looking to coming back this June with friends, incidentally did I mention the food and the wine

Great week in rural Tuscany

We have just returned from Le Pianore near Montespertoli in Tuscany, having stayed for a week in the Beppe apartment. We cannot speak highly enough of this place; the quality of the accommodation, the excellent on-site facilities and its fantastic location, together with the warm welcome and helpfulness of the owners. The cost of the apartment in this high season proved competitive, made even more attractive by the wonderful food and drink which the owners Monica and Roberto prepared for all the guests on two separate evenings. Nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people throughout our stay and they were always ready to help whenever any of their guests experienced any problems. Le Pianore is situated within a short drive of numerous places of interest - Florence, San Gimignano, Siena to name but a few. The small town of Montespertoli is only 6km away and has all the necessary shops. However, a car is essential to get the full benefit of the beautiful surrounding countryside. We would highly recommend this property and will certainly be returning at some stage in the future.
