This was the 3rd time we have stayed at Le pianore, it was again perfect. Monica and Roberto just couldn't do enough for us, we were greated as old friends, we even met up with people who have stayed there on our previous visits.
Since our first visit in 2006 we have returned with various family members and friends. We have stayed in both villas, and at the farm itself, the villas are good if you are in a large group, but if you want to feel nearer to more guests then perhaps you would prefer the farm.
One of our highlights is the Tuscan and Pizza nights, everything is included for just one price, and the meal is served either in the restaurant or outside, at a table which is set up facing the sunset.
Florence, Siena and all the local towns and villages are within easy reach by car. Try the Le Osteria Casa Chianti for it's tuscan food, especially the mixed breads and sauces. Monica is more than willing to make reservations.
This is by far my children's favourite holiday.
