The VILLA consists of two newly restored 17th century farmhouses on a small hill with lovely views overlooking the countryside, about 1 ½ miles from a village and the main road. One farmhouse has Apartments Ginevra and Apartment Sibilla; Apartment Lavinia is a separate building, about 100 feet away. The Villa is ideal for large groups. The farmhouse with two apartments can be rented for 14 people, or for 20 when combined with the independent farmhouse. An additional two people can be added to each apartment on a sofa bed, bringing the total to 18 or 26.

Three apartments in two farmhouses one called Villa Meleto (Sibilla and Ginevra apartments) and the other one called Lavinia.The Sibilla (sleeps 8+2) and Ginevra (sleeps 6+2) apartments may be connected and Villa Meleto may therefore be taken as a villa rental sleeping 14 + 4 people.The third apartment, Lavinia (6+2) is located in an independent farmhouse at 50 metres distance from the main villa. Each apartment can be rented separately or for groups of 20 or 26 people.Near the property is the lovely old town of San Miniato, famous for the truffle festival that takes place every year in November. Villa Meleto is ideally located for day trips in Tuscany and other parts of Italy. Castelfiorentino and Empoli are reachable in only a few minutes, whereas Florence and Pisa are reachable in 30 minutes. Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano and the coast can be reached within one hour by car.

| Notes: | Apartment Sibilla (8 people) The apartment is situated on the first floor and is reached via an original stone staircase. The spacious living room still has the original large elevated stone fireplace where our guests can pass romantic evenings during the winter. The ancient tiled floors, warm red rugs, the beamed and tiled ceilings, all combine to evoke a different epoch. The kitchen, linked to the dining room, is fully equipped (dishwasher too). There are four bedrooms, two double and two twin, and a total of four bathrooms (3 with showers and one with bath), three of which are ensuite. |

Christiano:Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to say what a wonderful vacation we had at the Villa Meleto last week. It was a reunion of college friends from the States, France and England, with their families, and we couldn't have asked for a better place.The villa is superb - incredibly beautiful, and we were very lucky with the weather.
