Olive groves and grape vines surround our farm houses situated on the Castello del Trebbio estate. Our cottages provide a great way to experience the relaxed Tuscan country while being close enough to Florence to pop in and explore the city. Castello del Trebbio was built as a fortress in the twelfth century by the Pazzi family. In the fifteenth century ownership transferred to the Medici family who built the courtyard in the Renaissance style. The current family purchased it in 1968 and have restored it respecting its history. The estate comprises about 60 hectares of grapes, 10.000 olive trees and native forest, a total of 350 hectares. A tour of the castle and the old wine cellars with wine and olive oil tasting is possible for our guests. We have a total of 4 apartments (sizes between 4 and 7 people) and a big private villa for 14 people. Main products: quality wine, extra virgin olive oil and saffron. We are close to the main art cities of Tuscany. We also organise cooking classes

The villa Faltignano is a wonderful private villa for a group of friends, one big family or 2-3 families (total 14 sleeps) that would like to spend a vacation together. There is a private swimming pool and garden; the house, with view on our 900years old castle, has 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a big kitchen, living room with TV-sat. In the surrounding area you can hike, ride horse, play tennis, wine tour in our castle. Florence is only 15 kms. away. Faltignano is a 200 years old farm house renovated 3 years ago in a rustical and functional style. We can also organize there active-weeks with cooking classes and many other activities... we wait for you on the Florentine Hills.
