Photos and Description of this Pontassieve holiday farmhouse Total: 4 apartments, 1 villa, 33 sleeps.

Olive groves and grape vines surround our farm houses situated on the Castello del Trebbio estate. Our cottages provide a great way to experience the relaxed Tuscan country while being close enough to Florence to pop in and explore the city. Castello del Trebbio was built as a fortress in the twelfth century by the Pazzi family. In the fifteenth century ownership transferred to the Medici family who built the courtyard in the Renaissance style. The current family purchased it in 1968 and have restored it respecting its history. The estate comprises about 60 hectares of grapes, 10.000 olive trees and native forest, a total of 350 hectares. A tour of the castle and the old wine cellars with wine and olive oil tasting is possible for our guests. We have a total of 4 apartments (sizes between 4 and 7 people) and a big private villa for 14 people. Main products: quality wine, extra virgin olive oil and saffron. We are close to the main art cities of Tuscany. We also organise cooking classes

The apartment Panicale C is situated in the House Panicale where you can also find the apartments Panicale A and B; Panicale C has 4 sleeps; kitchen, living room, open bedroom with 2 beds, double room, bathroom, use of pool, view on the vineyards and private garden. Pool working from may to September; is ideal for a 4 people family or a couple; if you are more people you can book either the whole house Panicale (A+B+C) or our other House, Villa Faltignano (see description)

Our property is located about 15 km. north-east from Florence. You can easily reach us coming from the motorway A1, exit Firenze Sud. Then take the road SS 67 till the town on Sieci; there turn left at the 1st traffic light and follow towards SANTA BRIGIDA. On your way to Santa Brigida, about 5,5 km. after Sieci, you will find the castle on the road.
