The Site:
This site of vineyards & olive trees is set in a magnificent position with stunning views at every turn - hill top villages, the river & valley below, mountains, fields. Each apartment has a private eating area & BBQ for privacy. The pool (12M x 5 M with internal seating steps) with its many sunbeds is situated above the house, and there is also a large flat open grass area surrounded by mountains ideal for picnics or for playing outdoor games....Wildlife abounds - birds of prey, deer, pheasant etc. In the Spring, watch the fireflies dancing in the dark....
We are available for anything you may need - we live up the hill.

We can arrange to get bread for you in the mornings.
We also have the privileged access to a local wood burning oven chef, who can come and make you home made pizzas in the outdoor oven and other traditional local dishes cooked in the wood oven too. He will also prepare home made pasta dishes and so forth but will need temporary access to your kitchen to do so. A really fun evening, with no need to drive!

The site is beautifully located in the hills, with the closest villages 1km and 1.5km respectively.
A 5 minute drive will take you to a bar/shop/pharmacy/post office etc. Claudio at our closest restaurant can arrange for food to be brought up for you too! For a good choice of restaurants, Castelnuovo with its many shops, bars, restaurants, and famous Thursday morning market is a 15 minute drive, and the medieval market town of Barga is 20 mins or so away, again with a good choice of restaurants and bars.
