Newly renovated house situated on the edge of the Carpinelli pass, thus located almost at the Northern Tip of the stunning region of North Tuscany. This peacefully located house split into three rental apartments is situated in a truly peaceful and tranquil edge of hamlet position, and enjoys beautiful views of the valley with the mountains beyond. Each apartment is bright and airy, brand new, and well equipped and each has its own individual eating area and BBQ outside. The pool, with pool house is absolutely stunning and frankly enormous for a rental property at 16x9m and there is a jacuzzi situated at the pool area too - 90cm in diameter. Perfect to be used as a children's pool when the jets are not on. Perfect for an away from it all, lazy holiday.

Giarasole is a one bedroom apartment perfect for 2, but also it can sleep 4 with 2 people accommodated on the good quality sofa bed. The combined living/dining/kitchen area is well equipped (oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV/DVD/CD) with door leading to personal outdoor eating area with BBQ. There is a good size quality shower room and a double bedroom. Outside is the shared garden but with private eating area, and the large pool 16M x 8M! and whirlpool at 90 cm in diameter, for when just a submersion and not a swim is in order!

Location: Minucciano Italy

Situated on the unspoilt Northern Tip of Tuscany, in the province of Lucca, on the edge of the medieval hamlet of Sermezzana, high on the Carpinelli Pass of the Appenine range. The area boasts wondrous views throughout… There are no facilities in the hamlet, but on the Carpinelli Pass some 3 kms away there are a couple of restaurants, and two also at the pretty village of Pugliano around 6km away. There is a greater choice of restaurants to be found slightly further afield. For shopping, apart from ‘traditional’ shops, the closest supermarket is around a 20 minute drive, and hypermarkets are at Aulla, a largish town with a good Saturday morning market, 30 minutes away. The closest train station for easy exploring is at Pieve Fosciana around a 15 minute drive.

Beautiful location and spotlessly clean

Stayed at Miravalle Viola for 2 weeks in July 2009. On arrival the apartment was spotlessly clean. The views across the mountains are wonderful and the pool was beautiful if a little chilly. It is a little isolated so a car is essential. However, within a half hour drive there are restaurants, a lake and places to buy food. We took the house recommendations when sight seeing and took the train from Lucca to Florence. Barga is also a lovely place to visit. If you like walking, which was our main reason for going, there are hundreds of walks of all grades and all are well marked.
