Spend a dream holiday in Casa Vinaria – the holiday home was restored with great care to details and charm and disposes of comfort. The swimming pool 4,60m x 2,60m, at the exclusive use of the guests) is a refreshment on hot summer days. Enjoy the Tuscan ambiance, surrounded by wine yards, with a glass of wine in the well cared garden. The owner is a wine producer – you have the possibility to taste his wine and to buy it. There is a table, chairs, sun-umbrella and barbecue made of stone for your outdoor life. Entrance: into a living-cum-kitchen with 1 double bed settee, stove, oven, fridge/freezer, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, WC, bidet. Casa Vinaria was furnished in typical Tuscan style- with terracotta tiled floors and by using local materials.

Lucca: a city of Ligurian-Etruscan origins, enclosed by a circle of 16th-century walls, with its palaces, churches, towers and gardens is a small enchanted world. From the charming garden on top of the tower of Palazzo Guinigi there is a splendid view of the city, with its red rooftops, its campaniles and the surrounding countryside which ends in the distance with the majestic profile of the Apuan Mountains. Walking down toward the centre, you will discover 14th-century houses, renaissance loggias, small antique shops open along the stone-paved alleyways and you can buy “buccellato”, a typical local cake in the small pastry shops with tables set out along the street. A must see: a trip to the Garfagnana, a vast valley that reaches from the Apennine to the Apuan mountains with a grand variety of landscapes.

This holiday was an amazing experience. The accommodation was everything we were looking for and more. It was clean, fully equipped and the owners couldn't have made us feel more welcome - customer service was excellent. The views from the property were breathtaking. The wine that the owners produce comes highly recommended.
A car is essential we hired one at the airport and unfortunately got lost on the way to the property so we would recommend either sat nav or buy a map in advance.
I would recommend this property to all of my friends.
