This lovely „rustico“ lies in a wonderful hill landscape between Lucca and the sea. This area is ideal to have a stroll or to make a tour by bike. The art towns Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena are within an easy reach. Spend a dream holiday in Casa Vinaria – the holiday home was restored with great care to details and charm and disposes of comfort. The swimming pool 4,60m x 2,60m, at the exclusive use of the guests) is a refreshment on hot summer days. Enjoy the Tuscan ambiance, surrounded by wine yards, with a glass of wine in the well cared garden. There is a table, chairs, sun-umbrella and barbecue made of stone for your outdoor life. Entrance: into a living-cum-kitchen with 1 double bed settee, stove, oven, fridge/freezer, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, WC, bidet. Casa Vinaria was furnished in typical Tuscan style- with terracotta tiled floors and by using local materials.

Additional information about rental rates

  • To book: send the 30% as advance with postal order or iban transfer.
    The remaining part the payment (70%) at the moment of yours arrival.
    A deposit of 30% of the property rentals must be paid.
    No contract with us will exist until we have received this amount and the booking form duly signed and return.

    On your arrival you will be asked for a deposit of 200.00 €. The sum will be returned on your departure. Any damage checked on your leaving will be refunded from the deposit.
    * Check in time: Saturday from 16.00 to 19.00.
    * Check out time: Saturday not later than 09.30.
    * Cleaning charges amount to 60.00 euros. (included Linen for bed and bathroom).
    Linen for bed and bathroom € 8,00 a person supplementary change.
    Weekly rental includes gas, water.
    From May to September, villa are rent from Saturday to Saturday. In the other months it is possible to rent in any day of the week.

Lucca area: During the summer Lucca welcomes some of the most famous singers of the world for the “Summer Festival”’s concerts, held in the major squares of the town.

While in the brand new open air theatre on the Massaciuccoli lake, in Torre del Lago Puccini, 20 km from the villa, in front of the villa where Puccini wrote some of its best pieces, the Puccini festival takes place. From June til August, the composer’s most popular operas are performed in a spectacular scenario ..

Nearest Beaches (25 min by car) The Versilia coastline spreads out from Viareggio to Marina Carrara and is one of the most fashionable coasts of Italy including the sophisticated resort of Forte dei Marmi where you can mingle with the Italian aristocracy. there are different free beaches in Torre del Lago and in Viareggio. is one is one of the more famous coast resorts in Versilia and a tourist destination known all over the world. It is an amusement-centre, the country of the Carnival with Carnival’s “Cittadella”.

Further details outdoors:: The property is superb for outdoor living as it enjoys sunshine from dawn to dusk. The gardens provide perfect areas for relaxation and for children to play. the garden with private swimming pool, sun loungers and covered Loggia with BBQ for Al Fresco dining. Swimming pool only available from April to October.

Casa Vinaria is situated at 500 mt about a village, called S.Martino in Freddana. In the village there are one shop for every genre as a supermarket,a pharmacy, some restaurants, some pizzeria. Delicatessen, Butcher Shop, Bakery, Coffee Shop, Tobacco Shop, Hair Salon, Mechanic, Dry cleaners, Edicola, Catholic Church.

Close to the house the owners have built a 4 hectares golf course with 6 holes.The golf course is under the home Vinaria, is open to the public, but the most of our client are the guest of our villas, in fact is a golf club very calm.

How to get there:: The house is set in the countryside around Lucca, about 10 km far from the centre of the town. Pisa airport is quite small and you pass through the formalities quickly. An alternative airport is Florence. 20minutes from Pisa, 45 minutes from Florence to reach the town. Direct flight from New york (JFK) to Pisa (PSA) operated by Delta Airlines. Take indications from Pisa Airport to Motorway (Autostrada A12) in direction of Genova. Take 1st exit on to Autostrada A11 towards Firenze(Florence) and take the first exit off this motorway for Lucca. Follow indications for city center (centro) and you will see the walls of the city in front of you. Follow signs for Camaiore. Go along this road for 9 km and when you reach San Martino in Freddana turn right for Loppeglia/Fiano and after 1 km you can see from the street vineyards and olive trees. When these are passed turn at the first little street on right and continue until the first gate on right which is the entrance of Casa Vinaria.

Holidays at Casa Vinaria

A very cute and charming house with everything you need to spent a lovely time in one of the most beatiful places in Tuscany. The small village where is located the house has as well every service you could need (supermarket, post, pharmacy, etc.) for that time. We have to make a special mention on the owners, very nice people always avalilable if you need to contact them for any matter. Therefore, customer service was excellent.

Due its location near to Lucca and the motorway it is really easy to get by car all the most touristic places in Tuscany having the posibility to get Firence in one hour or fantantsic beaches in almost 25 minutes.

Definetly, an ideal option for an unforgettable holidays specially recomended for a romantic getaway.

Casa Vinaria- A Hiden Treasure

This " Hidden Treasure" nestles in the foothills above the charmingly beautiful walled city of Lucca.
This lovely cottage is built into the hillside, it has all the mod cons -large fridge/freezer, Sat TV, A/C, lots of plug points, outdoor lighting etc - one would expect, and offers great value for money considering its stunning location, the views it has to offer, private pool and large canopied pation area.
It has been charmingly decorated in a rustic style that has to be seen to be appreciated.
All the above combine to make Casa Vinaria a great place for small family holiday or realxing romantic break.
It is only 30 minutes drive approx from Pisa airport, 15 minutes from Lucca and 15 minutes from large Esselunga supermarket, although there are local shops within 2 minutes of the cottage.Local village also offers restaurant/piazzeria, bars, garage.
Local sighseeing in the mountains that surround the cottage is wonderful, take a trip to Castelnuovo via mountain road, you wont be disappointed, just as you wont be disappointed if you stay in Casa Vinaria.

Enjoy your stay, we certainly did.

This villa is small but contains everything you need. We had a fantastic time with our 2 year old, he loved to run around the Vineyard. The owners wine was excellent and so was thier hospitality. All the locals were really friendly and we had some lovely meals in near by restaraunts.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This holiday was an amazing experience. The accommodation was everything we were looking for and more. It was clean, fully equipped and the owners couldn't have made us feel more welcome - customer service was excellent. The views from the property were breathtaking. The wine that the owners produce comes highly recommended.
A car is essential we hired one at the airport and unfortunately got lost on the way to the property so we would recommend either sat nav or buy a map in advance.
I would recommend this property to all of my friends.
