An exceptionally well renovated stone farmhouse, situated just above the village of Borgo a Mozzano, in a convenient location only 1/2 hr from Lucca. Located on 2 floors, downstairs there is a large hallway, with an open plan but 'divided' living area stretching right across the house. To the left is a cook's dream of a kitchen with all mod cons including 7 ring hob, and US style Fridge, and drinks cooler... To the right is a large dining room leading to a comfortable living area with sofa bed. Both the dining room and the kitchen open onto a very large eating terrace complete with traditional outdoor pizza oven and BBQ. Upstairs there are 4 double bedrooms each with its own ensuite all leading out to the 2nd terrace area behind the house. The house is well furnished and great care has been taken with the detail, with the builders having restored all the original chestnut beamed ceilings The front terrace leads to a garden area with luxury pool (12M x 6M), with jacuzzi area.

Il Giove is situated just above the village of Cereto which looks down over Borgo a Mozzano. A convenient location only half hour from the medieaval walled towns of Lucca (30 mins) and Barga (20 MINS). Pisa is 50 mins away and Florence 1hr 15 mins. Borgo itself has some bars, restaurants and shops, with a couple of restaurants within walking distance. A trip to the beach will take around 45 mins. All the benefits of being central the house is still within easy reach of the increasingly popular Garfagnana area with its two National Parks . There are plenty of walking and picnicking opportunities in the area, and many many hilltop villages to explore. Countryside abounds in this area for a truly rural holiday

  • Payment will also be taken in sterling via bank transfer to a UK bank.
    Prices for Christmas are 30% more than the usual December price and Easter is 20% more than the usual March price. Additional cleans are available at E15 per hour. Food can be cooked at E25 per person and discounted for children under 10 so long as notice is given. Extra beds are available at ?20 per week. English speaking person available at all times to help with any issues that may arise.
    Bedding and towels (not pool towels) are included. Pool towels can be hired at E10 per towel per week.
    All utilities and initial and final clean included. Heating payable locally
    PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE 4 DOUBLE ROOMS AT THIS HOUSE. WHILST IT IS POSSIBLE TO PUT IN AN ADDITIONAL SINGLE BED WITH EASE IN 3 OF THE 4 ROOMS, THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL COST OF ?20 PER WEEK PER ADDITIONAL BED. THIS ADDITIONAL COST ALSO APPLIES TO ANY PERSONS OVER AND ABOVE 8 STAYING AT THE HOUSE.
