Elegant villa of 240 mq., surrounded by a garden of 2000 mq with pool 6m x 12m ( variable depth 120-150 cm), and ‘Jacuzzi’. Sunny and quiet foot hill position, just outside of the ancient town of Camaiore. The villa is composed by: basement room: large dining room, living room with big fireplace and cooking corner, washing machine room, 1 full bathroom with shower. Ground floor: complete kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, terrace, walk-in cupboard, dining room, living room with fireplace, big veranda with direct access to the garden and swimming pool, 1 full bathroom with shower. First floor: 3 bedrooms (2 double rooms and 1 with two single beds), covered terrace on very nice sight on the garden, on swimming pool and on surroundings hills; 1 full bathroom with bath. As for bed-places, the villa is able to host 8 people, 6 on the first floor and 2 on the basement room, which has a double sofa bed. Perfect position, only 10min drive to the beach (Viareggio), Lucca, Pisa 25min drive.

The house is situated in a very nice environment, at the foot of the hills of Camaiore, a very important touristic site with its historic centre, its pedestrian streets, its beautiful beaches of Lido di Camaiore at 10mins, (ideal for children) and its view on the surrounding hills. Many sports can be practised in the village of Camaiore (2km) or on the coast (10km), both places can easily be reached by car. The 'promenade' of Viareggio and of Lido di Camaiore with the new bridge over the sea, a shopping tour in Forte dei Marmi and the numerous weekly markets (clothing, shoes, handicraft) shouldn't be missed either. It is also a good starting point for the cultural town as Lucca (25min), Pisa (30min) and Florence (70min). Daily boat trips from Viareggio port to the tuscan isles and the 'Cinque Terre'.

This charming property is an ideal place to enjoy in the same time, the pleasure of the pool, the beautiful gardens of the villa and the sea, beaches are easy to reach at about 10mins drive.

Beautiful Holiday!

Dear all,

we have rented this villa at the beginning of Sept. 2008 and we really had a beautiful staying!
The house is spacious, comfortable, well furnished and with lovely well manteined garden and sw. pool!
Quiet area, within short drive to the nearest town and beaches. Holiday was very relaxing, enjoying some days of excursions in the beautiful tuscan countryside and some days at the local beaches.
Unforgettable candle light dinners under the patio of the villa!
With my family I would recommend this property for a holiday in Tuscany.
We are looking forward to come back in the future.

villa attention to detail

The site was not quite as picturesque as the photographs suggest. There are a number of houses surrounding the property to the south and east making the view less than spectacular. Noisy dogs in the houses opposite kept us all awake for long periods during the night. There was no microwave, no dvd player, internet did not connect and the jaccussi did not work. After 4 days in the pool we all (except one who was wearing ear plugs) got ear infections requiring visit to the local hospital and prescription antibiotics. The basement was dank and in our view would not have been suitable for sleeping in. Showers are in the strangest places- basement, next to the living area, and where one would want one, next to the bedrooms, there is only a hand held spray. We would not rent this villa again.
Owner's Response: We rent 'Villa Laura' since many years and the feedback from our clients have always been enthusiastic due to the location, size, amenities of the property.

We would like to remark that we personally check -in all our clients and as we are locally based we are able to give immediate assistance in case of problems at the villa.
In this specific case clients never complained with us during their staying. If they would have called us because of the internet/jacuzzi we would have re-explained them how to use it and if needed we would have personnally gone to show it again.

We are sorry that clients got otitis during their staying, probably due to the bad use of the pool (ex. too many hours in the water) but it clearly doesn't depends of us and of our services.
