Villa Michaela has a selection of large doube bedrooms for rent for two nights or longer. There is a seperate price for a full villa rental, please contact the owner. There are wonderful views all around and a private pool and outside dining area and a tennis court. There is central heating and air conditioning, cable TV,The house is luxuriously furnished in the style of an English country house. All bathrooms have showers and the main bedroom has a Roman-style marble bath with Jacuzzi and double hand- basins. Full kitchen with breakfast served as part of the room rental.

Villa Michaela is a very large, early nineteenth century frescoed villa 15 minutes to the South of Lucca in grounds of 50 acres consisting of pine forests, olive groves, extensive gardens, a still consecrated chapel and a large pool and floodlit tennis court. The house sleeps 22 in great comfort, has a cinema, a vast Tuscan demonstration kitchen and five reception rooms making it perfect for family re-unions and big parties. The villa is air conditioned, fully staffed and has parking for 12 cars. There are 2 other houses on the estate sleeping 6 and 4 and a sister villa in the same village sleeping 34 so we can accommodate 64 people if required. The villa is a perfect location for exploring Tuscany and is near the airport (Pisa -25 minutes) and near the sea (Forte dei Marmi.) Our chef Luca Treu has a wide ranging repertoire and guests can enjoy Tucan Slow Food demonstrations in our rustic kitchen overlooking the lemon garden .Please contact us for our website.

The village of Vorno is about 8 kms from Lucca on the South side off the old road which connects Lucca with Pisa. Vorno is situated in a valley at the feet of Monte Serra and is a village with no through road making it very quiet and peaceful. The road runs through the village and ends in olive groves and pine forests. The village is famous for its wonderful spring water and people come from miles around to fill their water bottles from its spring. Vorno has its own bar, restaurant, football pitch and church and even a village tennis court although the villa has its own court. There are panoramic views of the Apuan Alps and famous olive groves - Vorno being the homeland of Bertolli olive oil.

We also offer wine and olive oil tasting, Tuscan Slow Food demonstrations, In House Opera ' with a trio singing arias Puccini and Verdi and Neapolitan love songs. Notes: Most of our double beds are six feet wide Super King size and there are 4 twin bedrooms in the villa. However if more twin rooms are required this can be arranged. There is home cinema with 16 seats and an American pool table. The swimming pool has a separate shallower pool for children. There is an outside dining area by the pool which seats 30 perfect for al fresco lunches. We have a full time manager who will organise any activity for you including weddings, boat trips, in house opera, beauty treatments, off road mountain biking, hiking, cooking lessons, fast track museum tickets, etc etc. Please ask us for our list of Activities and Events. The villa is perfect off season for exploring the birthplace of the Renaissance out of the heat and the crowds of the summer.
