Bel Sorriso is part of the historic Borgo Montefienali, a 14th-century village in the hills of the CHIANTI region that has been meticulously restored and is today designated as a national monument. Occupying the main (top) floor of a STONE COTTAGE formerly used to house the clergy, Bel Sorriso is a spacious 2-BEDROOM, 2-BATHROOM apartment with living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen (for 4). Tastefully decorated with antiques from around the world, the apartment also boasts many of today's CREATURE COMFORTS, such as the INTERNET (bring your PC), TV (+50 CHANNELS), I-POD station and STEREO. The private terrace/garden area has a table/chairs for 6, BBQ grill, and 2 lounge chairs. Located at the highest point in the village, Bel Sorriso enjoys a picturesque panorama of the countryside and the closest access to the borgo's shared POOL. Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental periods, reservation policy and cancellation policy: Rental periods run from Saturday 4pm (reception from 4pm to 7pm) to Saturday 10am.
    Reservation: A 25% deposit of the total rent due is required to reserve Bel Sorriso. The balance of the total rent due and a security deposit of EUR400 are to be paid at least six weeks before arrival.
    Cancellation: Should it be necessary to cancel a reservation six weeks or less before arrival, a full refund (minus bank fees) will be made if the house can be rented to another party.
  • A security deposit of EUR400 is to be added to the payment due for the rental. The property will be inspected prior to the guest's departure, and in the event of a satisfactory inspection, the deposit will be returned either directly or via bank transfer within 2 weeks.
  • The house is for a maximum of 4 people (adults and children aged 8 and older). Pets and smoking are not allowed in the house. Bookings from guests with children under 8 years old cannot be accepted.

Bel Sorriso is a very nice comfortable and pleasant house, it feels like home. The house has everything you need, a nice garden, a pool nearby, internet, a spacious living room where you can watch TV/dvd's and two small but very neat bathrooms. It's a very quit place, so you hear no traffic. Ann provides great service and is very nice.

We had a great time at Bel Sorriso. The apartment is very nicely equipped. The renter is nice. The area is beautiful. Everything was just fine.

Well, what a location! And what a drive down! Does anyone count how many breaths they take whilst driving along the approach to this magnificent beacon of Tuscan isolation? "Bel Sorriso" certainly takes the breath away on arrival. How beautifully decorated! We came here after several days in Roma and although instant relaxation isn't our forte, it certainly was easy here. This place is a gem to behold. And the value is astonishing. I can't wait to return.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. This is not a 'typical' holiday rental as it is the owner's main residence; the furniture is top quality (unnervingly so as the sofas are white and we had two children!) and everything that you might need is at hand. Anne is very efficient and determined to ensure that everything is totally in order for a relaxing and carefree stay. A strong constitution is needed to brave the one-in-four gradient to the borgo, and this might put some off venturing out into the surrounding countryside. All in all the best rental experience we have had.
