Poggio ai Pini is the ideal location for visiting the highlights of Tuscany and yet enjoying the vicinity of the most beautiful medieval town, Siena which is approx. 2km away. The farm buildings were carefully refurbished and converted into six cosy and beautiful apartments that will enhance your stay in the picturesque Tuscan countryside. The owner, a Count, lives in the Villa dating back to the 17th Century and it has belonged and is still occupied by the same ancient noble Siennese family. The Villa and the farmhouse are surrounded by hectares of olive groves, woodlands and green fields, where you can see in a distance for miles across the Chianti region and the beautiful skyline of Siena. In fact, the property lies at the doorsteps of Siena, offering all shops and facilities reached both by bus and on foot. Access to the property is by an electric gate and by 1.5km of private gravel road that leads directly to the private parking area of the apartments.

BALLATOIO - POGGIO AI PINI n. 3 2/4 Persons - 55 SQM. Kitchen corner - living/dining room with 2 single sofa beds- 1 double bedroom - 1 bathroom. Access is in common with Oliviera from an external flight of stairs leading to a small landing and culminating in a spacious furnished terrace that is private to Ballatoio and that runs the entire external length of the apartment. Private entrance is into a hallway with door on the right to the spacious living/dining room with kitchen corner that is complete with gas range, small fitted electric oven, fridge with freezer and skylight. Through the living room is the door to the double bedroom and to the complete bathroom with shower stall, washing machine and vent (no window).

WHERE WE ARE

Poggio ai Pini Via Chiantigiana, 25 (entrance just next 25) 53100 Siena you enter the gate (just push the button on your left) and than follow the white way up the hill for 1,5 km to the parking place and the apartments at the gate, the owner has created a second parking area for guests in which they can park their cars and use the regular bus line, 3 and 8 in both directions, that runs from the gate directly into the center of Siena.
