The apartment is located in the Crete Senesi, 15kms south-west of Siena. It has extensive undisturbed views across the Tuscan countryside and to the skyline of Siena. Shopping at Taverne D'Arbia 7km or the medieval town Asciano 10kms. Only 30km from the wine area of Montalcino where the famous Brunello wine is produced. Rapolano Terme (thermal baths) 18kms; southern Chianti area 15kms.

The area is not touristy, you will find yourself surrounded by local farmers and people from local towns that visiting the countryside on the weekend.

Postion on a hilltop, with farms surrounding.: Position amongst the countryside surrounded by olive groves. Spectacular views towards Siena and Monte Amiata (highest mountain in Tuscany). Traditional Tuscan landscape with rolling hills and cypress trees.

Loving the comfort and tranquility of the location

Thank you Carmelina for finding this place and restoring the apartment so beautifully. We have enjoyed our stay here immensely, loving the comfort the tranquillity fo the location, and the friendliness of the surrounding people. Thank you, too for the olive oil and biscuits - a really thoughtful touch. So much thgouth has gone into the guidance and we really appreciated the driving routes & parking (San Francesco never let us down!). We've discovered new favourites in Tuscan towns - Montalcino & Asciano as well as Siena fo course, and loved watching birds, butterflies and SHEEP. A wonderful place with fascinating views from sunrise to sunset and on.....

Panoramic views

Thank you foo a wonderful week in your lovely apartment. The panoramic views are absolutely stunning and we enjoyed sitting in the little garden watching the changing light on the beautiful landscape. The apartment is so well equipped and the file of information was extremely useful. We love this area of Tuscany - the scenery, the historic towns, the art and the architecture and we can't wait to return. Thank you also for the delicious chocolate flan and oil, it was such a lovely thought.

So beautiful

Already on our first night we talked about coming back to this place. We now spend a plasant week in the early spring here with our 2 little children and everything is greeen and so beautiufl...if only we could have a flat like this in Copenhagen...we will definitely contact you next time we choose Italy for holiday.
