The owners, a nice couple, devoted to art and gracious living, live on the premises to provide advice in planning trips to nearby hill towns, cities, markets, festivals and for enjoying the gastronomic specialities of this beautiful region. In the village of Staggia, just a mile from the house, you can buy fresh food, meats, wine and other items at a supermarket. Within 15 minutes by car you will find a swimming pool,a riding school and a nice golf course(par4 par3 par3).Because you are in the heart of Tuscany, a fifteen minute drive or less will take you to Siena,Monteriggioni,San Gimignano and Colle Val d'Elsa. Florence,Montalcino or Volterra are within forty minutes by car. Within an hour and a half you could be walking along the seashore, relaxing in a thermal bath or visiting Pisa,Lucca or Arezzo. In Summer you can choose from numerous plays, operas and special events in the area. The world-famous Palio horse race takes place in nearby Siena on July 2nd and August 16th.
