IL TESORO is a large country house, with a charming tower and situated on a low hill in the valley below the village of Radicondoli. From the house and from the swimming pool you can admire a typical and breathtaking landscape of gently rolling hills, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and grazing sheep. The swimming pool has a big green and clean garden and a big gazebo where you can sit, drink a good Chianti Classico and admire the sunset that makes everything real and will make your holidays unforgettable.

This apartment is located at the first floor of the big house. The entrance opens in a rural but functional big kitchen with fireplace and sofas. A wooden stair will introduce you to a long corridor where, in your left side, you can admire 2 spacious and very lighted double bedrooms. The furniture are in typical Tuscan style, and the iron beds are comfortable as well as romantic. All in this house is ready to make your holiday a very 'special' holiday. This flat is suitable for families of 4/6 people. By requesting you can have added rooms for more people.

About 7 km before the village of Radicondoli there is the unpaved road in good condition that brings you to IL TESORO. Radicondoli is a very small village but there you can find the bakery, the chemistry, the butcher and three very little groceries, but always we suggest for weekly shopping to go to Colle val D'Elsa that is 20 km far but is very cheaper. From our farmhouse you can reach in 30 minutes San Gimignano with its towers, the Medieval castle of Monteriggioni, the 'rootless' church of San Galgano in Chiusdino. In 40 minutes you can arrive to Siena, to the Etruscan Volterra, and to the 'Terme of Petriolo'. Florence is not to far and in about 1 hour you can be there, you can visit also Pisa (120 km) or for one day reach the seaside in Follonica (60 km). In the farmhouse you can buy typical biological foods as cheese, bread, wine, oil, vinegar and many other that you will discover during your holiday.

Notes: In the kitchen you have also the washing machine and all the necessaries to iron. The pool is in common with other 2 flats. IL TESORO is an eco-friendly house: We placed insulation in the ceiling of our home to help regulate temperatures, we have Installed time switches on outdoor lights, we use only compact fluorescent lights, we use the lowest wattage light needed for a room, we maximise natural light painting internal walls in a light colour to maximise the light being reflected into our rooms and last but most important we are organised to recycle materials, called 'recyclables' !!! This includes glass, paper, aluminium, iron and plastics. We also recycle biodegradable waste, such as food waste or garden waste, through composting. Please help us to keep our house a green building reducing wasting of energy, water and materials.

great accommodations as a main location to venture out and explore other areas or if you just want to relax and get away from it all. spacious, clean and well maintained accommodations. new and well equipped kitchen., owners friendly and very helpful. Be sure to try owners' family restaurant in nearby town which is very reasonably priced with large variety of selections.
