Castel San Gimignano is a small and ancient suburb near San Gimignano . Here you can find restored beautiful flats where bright colours dominate all the furniture. In one of them there is a big and nice garden with beautiful and very old trees where the visitors can drink Italian wine; especially the really famous handmade Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Casa Simona is a little flat created in an 8th-century house structure, whose architecture has remained untouched. Completely restructured, environment furnished with a very welcoming, cosy atmosphere. The flat consists of a splendid brickwork kitchen, bath with shower, marriage bed and loft looking out on a garden, sofa and tv. Casa Simona also has parking space in its own wide square (opposite the beautiful welcoming towers of San Gimignano), entrance and indipendent garden.

These wonderful accomodations are in the heart of Tuscany in the area of Castel San Gimignano, a small and ancient village near San Gimignano, which is far only few kilometers.

It is 40 minutes by car from the beach and around 40 km from the Florence-Pisa airport, by car it takes 15 minutes or less to Siena , 15 minutes to Monteriggioni and 10 minutes to San Gimignano, Volterra and Colle Val D’elsa. Florence, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza are about 40 minutes away by car.

In an hour and a half you could be walking along the sea shore, relaxing in a thermal bata, or visiting Pisa , Lucca or Arezzo. In summer you can choose from numerous plays, operas in San Gimignano and special events in the area. The world Famous Palio horse race takes place in nearby Siena and July 2nd and August 16th. Genuine Tuscan hospitality is waiting for you.

The appartment was clean and roomy.
The ownerr are nice and frindly.
They also make nice red wine.
