'Podere La Castellina Farmhouse Holiday ex convent: Podere 'La Castellina' - Farmhouse Holidays - ex convent - Is situated in the beautiful countryside near Sovicille, just 18 km west of Siena and within easy reach of S:Gimignano 30km, famous for the numerous towers connected to the war between Siena and Florence, Monteriggioni 22km a Crown Castle with shops, S.Galgano linked to King Arthur with a sword in the stone. Volterra 32 km known for the Alabaster, Florence the world centre of Art is 49 km away and Assisi 110km. The property has a lovely 12 x 6 - 1.50mt .deep – shared swimming pool surrounded by sun terrace which boast breath taking panoramic views and sun chairs. There is also a large terrace with barbeque and further panoramic views, there is no better way to relax than sipping a glass of Chianti o Brunello while admiring the beautiful gentle hills of Tuscany and its sunset.
Podere La Castellina Farmhouse Holidays - offers self catering holiday in cottages and apartments in the most beautiful and panoramic country side between Siena and S. Gimignano - Tuscany.
The property is located in the Montagnola Senese national park and the secluded hilltop setting near Siena offers stunning views over the Tuscan countryside, whilst still being close to beautiful historic towns such as Florence and San Gimignano as well as the Chianti, Montalcino and Montepulciano wine regions.
Ski: Skiing is only approximately one hour away either Monte Amiata south of Siena or Abetone west of Florence one and half hour driving.
Golf: Facilities near by: Horse riding Public 9 hole golf 18 km away Bikes rental shop - and scooters Health Spa Lots of interesting walking (Guided at request) Sandy beach 50 km. The owner Silvio and Joy live on site and are very helpful, always available to give you the best advice.
Guest Book: Silvio Thanks for another great holiday, yet again we really enjoyed it. We would like to rebook again for next year. We are looking at August 6th for 2 weeks and wandered if you had availability in the apartment Caminetto. If so could you give us a price for the weeks mentioned above. We promise to bring the girls back with us. I think it was this week you have James and Phillipa staying please send our regards. Hope to hear from you soon. There will be 3 adults, myself, Hanna and Annabelle. If possible we would like the first floor apartment (1 bedroom) in the main building - you will recall that you upgraded us last year to the 2 bedroom apartment which is next door to the one we had on our first holiday. Please confirm if you are able to accommodate us this year and the cost. Thank you.
