Castle of the 4 Towers - Honeymoon?

A road winds its way up the hill to the 'Castello delle Quattro Torri', the Castle of the Four Towers. The visitor approaching from Siena will be able to spot this Medieval castle from far away, perched on the top of the hill, towering above the Tuscan countryside. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, the latter still used to produce the delicious Chianti wine, we see the four red brick towers, now classified as a national monument. Here you can find a very romantic accommodation for a couple or a small family. Across the small and romantic courtyard, the stairs provide access to the first floor. The apartment is furnished and designed in harmony with the historic ambience: you won't find the blatantly imposing and luxurious elegance of the feudal (Baroque) castles that were built later on, but rather a comfortable rural interior - in line with the history of this castle that dates back to the Middle Ages.

• Rental prices weekly refer to a reservation of 2 people.
  Bed, bath and kitchen linens, water, electricity, gas all included in the price.

• Security deposit, heating, wood for fireplace, additional beds, final cleaning to be paid in euros on the premises:
  Security deposit: EUR 250.
  Heating (if required): EUR 70 set price per week.
  Wood for fireplace: please check price on the premises.
  Additional beds if maximum capacity PAX is exceeded: EUR 60 per person per week.
  Final cleaning: EUR 50.
  Pets allowed: EUR 50 domestic pet supplement.
  Dinners: upon special request on site the property owner can prepare dinners (except in August) - please request date, menu and price on site.

The Interior

The large living room area, with a fireplace and a long wooden table, forms the centre of the apartment. Antique terracotta tiles cover the floor displaying charming unevenness, and mighty wooden beams support the ceilings. The small kitchen is located in one of the towers. The apartment is furnished with several antique pieces of furniture and equipped with a washing machine and a dishwasher for your convenience. All windows offer a view of the soft hilly landscape around Siena.

The Garden

The castle is surrounded by a garden boasting lawns, some beds of roses and trimmed hedges. This garden can be used by the guests and is perfect for having breakfast or a barbecue and for sunbathing in the olive grove. The Castello produces its own wine and olive oil - you can buy these products right on the premises. Those who prefer to have an accommodation with breakfast might prefer another unique apartment on the top floor of the castle located in the tower room. (Minisuite / also in our repertoire). The rest of the house is privately used.
