From a wise restructuring of an ancient agricultural structure of the beginning of the 1900's takes life the holiday resort 'La Lavanda'. The resort is set at an altitude of 600 meters on the summit of a pass which dominates the underlying valley of the river and the surrounding hills; dipped in the green of the hills of Chianti, between ancient woods and vineyards, this structure is an ideal place for a peaceful vacation, or as point of departure to visit our splendid cities of art. The resort is 20kms from Siena and 35kms from Florence and San Gimignano. The villa is suitable for 4 people and consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, multifunctional whirlpool shower, and a large kitchen with all the comforts: satellite TV system, dishwasher, oven, freezer and washer. From one of the two rooms can be accessed the great terrace with porch from which is possible to arrive on the ample garden with sight on the hills of Chianti and on the valley of the river Pesa.

La Lavanda was exactly as described and so pleasant and convenient. The grounds are beautiful and we felt welcome. Castellina in Chianti was just the right place to find whatever we needed and the people were friendly and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely like to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at La Lavanda very much. We stayed there a week in May. It is a beautiful house in charming, quiet surroundings, everything is very well kept and clean. The hosts are nice and friendly, and there is an old village nearby where you can shop. We surely can recommend La Lavanda for a holiday stay.

We highly recommend this lovely cottage. You find everything you need in the kitchen. It is so silent and from the back patio you can watch the cute glowworms in the night. The owners of this cottage are very kind and helpful.
It is well situated, you can get to all the Tuscan highlights very fast.
Just go there and enjoy this beautiful place!!!!
