Casa Gallastroni is a three storey family house decorated in traditional Tuscan style with garden, patio, terrace and off street parking. On the ground floor the facilities include a living room,(with 2 sofas bed if required and TV satellite), dining room, kitchen complete with dishwasher, fridge, ice box, oven/hob and ample equipment. Going out into the garden, you find a patio, barbecue area, area with garden furniture under the apricot and cherry tree, here there is a garage and an out house with washing machine, shower and washing facilities. It is the ideal spot for those who want to explore Tuscany, in the midst of the most prestigious wine producing areas of Italy(Chianti, Montepulciano). Casa Gallastroni is situated in the pleasant village of Abbadia di Montepulciano just 10 minutes away from the medieval village of Montepulciano; there is a local bakery selling fresh Tuscan bread and delicacies and a greengrocery selling fresh local produce.

Casa Gallastroni is situated in the pleasant village of Abbadia di Montepulciano just 10 minutes drive away from the medieval village of Montepulciano. Chiusi is an Etruscan site just 20 minutes drive away, Pienza (build by Pope Pio IX as his renaissance ideal of a town and scene of 'The English Patient'),as well as San Quirico d'Orcia, Trequanda, Cortona (scene of 'Under the Tuscan Sun'), are all within half hour drive. Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia are only 45 minutes drive, Florence 90 minutes. How to get there: from Rome Ciampino take A1, follows the Florence signs, after approximately 2 hours drive, you will approach an exit sign posted 'Valdichiana'; take this exit, you will find yourself in the motorway toll area, from here take the road signposted 'Torrita di Siena', follow the road to 'Torrita di Siena', continue on this road, once through Torrita di Siena you will drive for about 10 minutes(follow the sign to Chiusi) until you get to Abbadia di Montepulciano.
