Podere il Giurato, Fauglia is conveniently situated in the countryside between the interesting cities of Livorno and Pisa and about 15km from the sea. It is a traditional Tuscan country house which has three self-catering apartments for rent and one in which the friendly owners live. All the apartments have been thoughtfully restored and furnished to offer very comfortable high class accommodation in traditional style with special touches which make one feel immediately at home. The house lies in a quiet position in the countryside surrounding by a large well maintained garden with grass lawns, lots of flowers and mature trees. There is a lovely large swimming pool (7.5m x 15m) which is well supplied with sun beds and sun umbrellas. In the surrounding fields you can enjoy the sight of some fine looking horses which are raised by the farm next door which also belongs to the family.

Apartment Tre-3 is on two floors. On the ground floor it has its private entrance and living areas whilst the two bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms are on the first floor. The lounge is very well furnished in traditional style and has a large settee and two armchairs in front of a traditional wood burning fireplace. It is separated by a low wall from the well fitted kitchen and dining room. All the rooms have traditional beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. They are well furnished with colourful rugs, pretty curtains and lots of pictures on the walls giving the apartment a very warm atmosphere. The apartment has its own area in the garden with table and chairs and sun umbrella.

    Sun beds at poolside. Ping pong. One unguarded covered parking area. If you book for two weeks ,weekly change of towel and linen is included, but not an apartment clean. Pets are welcome. A deposit of 25% is required on booking.

I stayed at Podere il Giurato with my husband, sister and brother in law. We had a fantastic time and loved our accommodation and the surrounds. Our hosts were friendly and made us feel most welcome. I would recommend this place most highly and will be going again. Everything was perfect.
