Set within the historical Tuscan town of Fosdinovo lies CASA ANGELI. This unique apartment is the perfect place to experience Northern Tuscany. From the apartment's two large private terraces you will take in the stunning panoramic views of the Ligurian coastline together with the Carrara marble mountains. Florence, Lucca and the Cinque Terre are all within easy reach. The Roman town of Sarzana with its fashionable shops, restaurants and the famous antiques festival is within a 10mns drive. The Apennine hills and the private beaches are all very close by. The property consists of a large double bedroom with its own private terrace and dressing room; a luxurious marble bathroom with shower; a 30ft reception/dining area with working stone fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen, and for a romantic dinner alfresco there is a spectacular terrace which enjoys the most dramatic views down to the sea. Whitewashed walls, walnut wood and terracotta floors are featured throughout.

The Town of Fosdinovo is located in the Tuscan area of the Lunigiana just 50kms from Pisa airport. The A12 motorway (10mns from the town) is the gateway to the cities of Florence, Lucca and Siena. Access is also easily available for passenger ferries to the Cinque Terre, Porto Venere and Porto Fino. Fosdinovo is the ideal location to visit the birthplace of Puccini 'Torre del Lago', the playground of Byron and Shelley 'Lerici' also called 'Golfo dei Poeti', and finally Dante's refuge during his exile years in the homes of the illustrious Malaspina family.

At Casa Angeli we want to make your stay as wonderful as possible, so when you arrive we will have prepared for you a welcome pack with all the information you will need to make your stay with us interesting and relaxing. This will include train and boat times, shop opening hours, restaurant recommendations and information on all the various festivals happening in the area at the time. We can also arrange (with 1 day's notice) a meal ready for you when you arrive home from a busy day's sight seeing or sun-bathing! Bikes are available if you are feeling energetic! Golf takes place in nearby Lerici and jet-skiing is available in Marina di Massa. Walking maps are included in your welcome pack. We highly recommend a visit to the Marble caves of Carrara where you will be shown where Michelangelo selected the pure, white marble that he used to carve the beautiful statue of David that can be seen in Florence. We hope that your stay at Casa Angeli will be memorable.

Casa Angeli lived up to all our expectations from the description and photographs. We enjoyed a very relaxing, romantic break in this lovely part of Italy. All the restaurants that were recommended by Lisa were excellent as were the places that she suggested we visit. Cinque Terre is definitely worth a visit and Sarzana offers many delightful little cafes where you can sit and watch the world go by.

We would certainly make a return to Casa Angeli.

Casa Angeli is lovely apartment in a beautiful part of the world. The apartment is nicely furnished, with everything you need. The apartment provided a lovely cool environment to come back too after spending the day in the sun. The terrace was a beautiful place to just sit and relax. Lisa provided us with good customer service and was concerned to ensure we had a good holiday. Her tips on local restaurants were good. We had no cause to contact Lisa whilst on holiday but we feel sure that had we have needed to do so it would not have been a problem. Fosdinovo is a lovely location for a very peaceful and
tranquil holiday, a total get away from the rat race. Although the festival certainly livened things up but was a very enjoyable experience. It you want to encounter some true Italian culture it is the place to stay but would strongly recommend having the use of a car. There are some lovely places to visit: Lucca; Pisa; Sarzana; Cinque Terre.
