Located on the 'Strada del Vino', with superb local food and classic wine. The Apartment is located in a 23 acre estate, at the heart of which is the restored 15th Century Palazzo.

The apartment was ininitially renovated in 2003 and the current owners have recently decorated and furnished the Aoartment to an exceptionally high standard. There is heating/air conditioning system and the owners have installed their own Kitchenette to a high specification including Smeg appliances. The lounge diner is particularly large and spacious, as is the ground floor double bedroom with en-suite toilet/shower. There living area is light and airy with superb views from the lounge. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom and en-suite. There is a double futon in the lounge allowing upto six guests to sleep in comfort. There is a reception/concierge and a weekly housekeeping service. Additional housekeeping can be booked locally (at an hourly charge). There is wireless reception at the resort. The internet can be accessed via landline in the Reception.

  Higher rates apply for Xmas period (Dec 26 - Jan 5) and for school half terms and bank holiday weeks. Please enquire when booking.

  Special rates for returning quests.
  
• Housekeeping and linen/towel change on weekly cycle is included in rental. Additional linen changes/room servicing/fresh towels may be ordered via reception and will incur a local charge. Guests should bring own pool /beach towels (or hire at Reception).
  
• - INTERNET ACCESS/Connectivity: Internet access is available in the Reception via broadband land line.
  Reception open 9-12.30 and 13.30 - 1800. Closed on Wednesdays/Thursdays. Concierge can be contacted outside opening hours.

A local Tour company serves the Resort and, by request, can arrange tours, excursions, activity classes, wine tasting etc. They will also arrange airport transfers. Please enquire when booking.

Explore Tuscany and beyond

Trains in Italy are fast and cheap. A regular train between Pisa and Florence runs through Pontedera, which is a 10 min cab ride to the Apartment.. You can explore beyond Tuscany on day trips by rail, e.g Florence to Rome in 90 mins. Florence to Venice in 2 hours. Ferry trips to offshore islands The jet-setter beach resort of Forte dei Marmi is a forty minute drive, and the vibrant night-life of Marina del Pisa is less than a thirty minute drive. Superb sailing around the islands off Pisa is close by, and the historic towns of San Miniato, Volterra, Pistoia, and San Gimignano are all within easy reach. The major ski resort of Abetone can be reached in an hour and a half. Excellent golf options are less than 20 minutes drive away from the complex. Pisa, with its famous leaning Tower, is a major tourist destination, but is also a historic University town as well as a thriving commercial centre. It has excellent restaurants, bars, shopping and sightseeing. Florence is a must visit.

Golf, Horseriding and activities

There is horse riding available immediately next to the resort and a par 73 golf course about 20 mins drive. For a more cosmopolitan holiday experience there are excellent shopping malls in 15 mins drive, there is designer outlet shopping (30-50% below UK prices), and the nearby town of Pontedera has cinemas, clubs and nightlife. Other activities locally include tennis, wine tasting, cookery classes, fishing and wild boar shooting. Bikes can be hired locally. The extensive ski area of Abetone is a 90 minute drive from the resort.
