The jaw-dropping splendid 17th century castle, Castello di Santa Cristina, (complete with fairy tale turret) has been the property of the noble Caterini family for generations. The castle's nearby 18th Century ivy-clad farmhouse and out-buildings have been sympathetically and skilfully renovated and converted, with careful attention to retain their authenticity, offering comfort and privacy in a pleasant combination of rustic charm and modern day convenience. There are now 5 attractive cottages accommodating between 4, 4/5 or 6 and 2 large, charming apartments each sleeping 8 with 4 en suite double bedrooms, All are tastefully furnished with typical, traditional and comfortable rustic furniture in keeping with the locality.

Marta Is set apart from the rest of the accommodation at Santa Cristina Castle, a little along the 'Brigands Path' and yet still within a couple of minutes walk from the main swimming pool and castle. However, as this property has its own garden and small pool, which is shared with the Capodimonte Cottage, you have the choice of two pools. Marta and Capodimonte are purpose built cottages, though you wouldn't know it, as they have been tenderly constructed with local materials and hold the rustic character that exudes the same charm as the rest of the estate's buildings. Each cottage has an independent entrance and attractive veranda. Both have a charming living\dining room with fireplace. Two attractively furnished bedrooms each one with ensuite bathroom. A kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher and a separate service entrance. These cottages are perfect for two families, holidaying together, as they are quite separate yet share the swimming pools and gardens
