Sea:
La Casetta farmhouse is separated from the sea by the hills surrounding Leghorn; Calafuria, whose Etruscan-Roman quarries have left pools in the cliffs, lies just 20 minutes away; the seaside towns of Quercianella and Castiglioncello are located just a little further along the coast. Forte dei Marmi, the seaside resort known as the “pearl of Versilia” in the 1960s lies just 45 minutes from the farmhouse.
Kitesurf lovers should know that in Vada, located at only 31 kms from the property, there is a beach called Spiagge Bianche where it is possible to practice kite surf and there is also a school.

Fioralice riding centre lies at Fauglia, just 9,5 km from La Casetta farmhouse.
The centre organizes both excursions and riding lessons.
Hang-gliding (on the farm)

Hiking
Hikers who are not satisfied with the hills surrounding the house, may venture into the hills surrounding Leghorn and the foothills of the Apuane Alps.
