Traditional stone farmhouse and guest house with spectacular views, set high in the hills above Pescia between Lucca and Florence. 5 bedrooms, 2 with king bed, 1 double and 2 twins. 4 bathrooms large living room and kitchen dining room. Outside covered dining terrace, panoramic pool, gardens and parking. Decorated and furnished in traditional style with the benefit of all modern essentials. Every amenity including open fireplaces, sat TV, DVD, dishwasher, table football, badminton. This is a great place for family reunions, birthday parties and other gatherings for all ages.

Set high in the hills above Pescia which is between Lucca and Florence and close to Montecatini Terme, a famous spa town. The area is covered in pine forests and other local trees and was the centre of the paper industry until recent years. Collodi, or the Pinnochio Park, is a few kilometres away and this is the Italian version of a theme park. Pescia is a medieval town with traditional tradesmen, markets and festivals including its own Palio. About 1km from nearest shop

This is the second time we have stayed at Casa Libra and it just gets better. Everything was fantastic, the groceries and the meal we had ordered were waiting for us on our arrival. The tiramisu is well worth ordering . This made our first night so much more relaxing with two small Children in tow. The house we found to be warm and inviting the property was spotless and the facilities that are provided are everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The views are to die for and we had many an evening sitting outside taking in the sun sets whilst sampling the local food which was purchased from the local market in Pescia . Casa Libra is in a fantastic location to see Tuscany, we managed to take in Florence, Bologna, Sienna, and Lucca all very accessible from Casa Libra. We will definitely be back. I’m missing it already..

Luxury Italian Getaway for Relaxation&Exploration

I have been lucky enough to holiday in this property twice and 3 things never fail to impress: firstly the stunning views of the Italian countryside, secondly Laura's cooking (for guests who chose to have a special catered for event), and finally the quality of the facilities both inside the house (bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, lounge all beautifully and authentically presented) and outside (excellent size swimming pool, outside dining area and barbecue). Plus it's the perfect location to visit Pisa or Florence. I cannot recommend this property enough and cannot wait to go back for a third time!

Beautiflul Tuscan Retreat

A picturesque, relaxing setting for a much needed getaway for 4 girls in our late 20s.
The Villa is beautifully authentic and traditional whilst subtley incorporating all mod cons (there is even a dishwasher hidden in the kitchen). Everything was clean and worked well (including the english sky TV!).
The owner was very helpful in the run up to our stay, answering all manner of questions and organising the cook to come in to prepare a special meal.
Pesica is brilliantly located near Pisa, Lucca and Florence. We left the car at Pescia Station and took the train to all three, on different days, to avoid parking problems.
We also took a day trip by car to the designer outlets! Gucci, Prada, YSL, Armani, Bottega Venetta etc all at bargain prices.
Other days were blissfully spent relaxing by the pool. There are loads of delicious and inexpensive restaurants close to the house. I would highly recommend Pucci in Pescia.
Personal highlights of the stay include the view over the Tuscan hills from the bath - to be enjoyed with a glass of wine in hand (pure luxury) and the meal prepared by the cook.
We will definitely be returning!
