Sport and Fun at La Nievolina:
At the villa you'll be able to spend your holidays rest and relaxing on the amach, suntanning by the pool, reading one of the book of our English library or you can practice your favourite sport.
- Golf : the course is located in a hilly area close to the ancient house of Leonardo da Vinci. Small greens with difficult lines present the major difficulties. The course is 10 minutes driving away.
- Tennis: we've 2 tennis courts 5 minutes away and tennis clubs in Montecatini Terme.
- Ping Pong: we have a professional ping pong table . We provide racquet's and balls.
- Badminton: we also have a non-professional badminton court set among the olive trees. It's the ideal spot for children and adults. We provide racquet's and balls.
- Bikes rentals: it's now possible to rent bikes (city bikes and mountain bikes) for your holidays at the villa. Minimum rental is a week per bike.
- Bocce (bowls): you can play this famous Italian and French game at the villa.
The Swimming Pool and facilities for children:
SWIMMING POOL -
The pool is above the ground but is set among olive trees and gives you the opportunity to have a wonderful view of the valley.
It's length (7 meters) and width (3.5 meters) are enough to host parties of 8 and is usually warmed by the sun on hot days allowing you to have a magic sensation when you get in.
The sun terrace next to pool will let you enjoy your stay, suntanning and relaxing.
The pool and the sun terrace are next to the villa so all you have to do is relax.

Yes! We take care of your children and we want that their holiday is an experience to remember.

Our cook offers an introduction to preparing-and eating-traditional dishes along with the appropriate wines.
Classes may be scheduled for any date with at least two weeks in advance notice, and can be conducted in your native language.
You may take one lesson or combine them to fashion a program to your interests.
Lessons begin at 16:00.
After assisting in the preparation of dishes, you sit at a table and at 18:30/19:00 you have dinner, enjoying your creations with the correct wines.
Private winery excursions.
Wine tasting may be scheduled for any date with two days advance notice, and can be conducted in your native language. You can have one or more lessons. Here are some examples for red, white, and rose wines. You may take one of these lessons or combine them to fashion a program to your interests.
Ski:
La Nievolina is just 90 minutes away from Abetone, the most important ski resort of the Centre of Italy. It is known and appreciated in all over the world, not only for its various ski runs but also for the great champions as Zeno Colò, Celina Seghi and Vittorio Chierroni who praised it to the skies. The State wood rich in firs, larches and pines is crossed by paths and is also the starting point for a range of excursions: from the simple walks to trips to the mountains.
The ski slopes are situated between four marvelous linked valleys: Val di Luce, Valle dello Scoltenna, Valle del Sestalone and Valle di Lima. These valleys form one of the most beautiful, famous and natural scenery of the Appennino.
Abetone pooled with the nearby ski resorts of Corno ale Scale and of Cimone for the Big Snow ski-pass. It has moreover strengthened the snowfall using one hundred cannons.
Golf:
Montecatini Golf is an 18-hole links located in the heart of the Tuscany countryside between the coast of Versillia and the magnificent cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa. Montecatini Golf, whose layout follows the place ''s conformation of hills, stretches out over a course of 18 holes. Par 72, for a total length of 5857 m for men and 5127 m for women. The links has a number of holes that are of extraordinary technical and scenic attraction. From the green of hole 9 you can take in with a single gian-ce the first nine holes featuring olive trees that mark the delicate dog legs of the fairways and the boundaries of the course. There are two lakes to make the game even more exciting at holes 5, 10 and 18, while on the second one you are immediately struck the image of the Mediterranean scrub with the colors and scent of heather, broom, undergrowth and laurel. A course made even nicer by the continuous aesthetic and technical improvements, in observance of the context of its scenery.
Also the Club House could not be but a building of historical and architectural prestige. It was founded on Etruscan and Roman settlements (it's present core dates back to the year 1000) and has been restored in observance of its historical structure.
The roof with its roof tiles and bent tiles bring you back in time, when Leonardo da Vinci took walks in this area. Inside you will find all that which Tuscan hospitality has to offer.
