A romantic farmhouse with about 130 hectares of land. Very peaceful area. Cereal cultivation, olive-trees, meadows for the sheep and horses, woods, old stone houses and the ruins of the 'Castellina' fortress . On our farm we raise Sardinian milking sheep, horses and hens. We have domestic pets and yours are also welcome upon request. From the hill where the farm is located ( 550m above sea level ) there are breathtaking views over the mountains, hills and valleys. Ideal for trekking. The Franciscan Peace trail from Assisi to Gubbio passes here near. The farm is organic and controlled by ICEA. We produce extra-virgin olive-oil, cheese from the sheep milk (pecorino, ricotta etc.) and hand-woven textiles. The self-catering apartments for max 4 persons are furnished in wooden 'arte povera' style. It is possible to book meals or who likes can cook with us. (Also for celiac and for vegetarians).

Apartment 'Basilico' for max 4 persons with bedroom with double bed and an extra bed or cot when needed. Otherwise it is possible also to put three single beds, self-catering kitchen, living room with double divan-bed, bath with shower and bidet. Independent entrance. DISABLE FACILITIES. It is possible to book breakfast or dinner by us. We do mostly Umbrian and Sardinian specialties with the products of our organic farm. Upon request also catering for special diets (for celiac, vegetarians). on request cooking courses or massage.

Agriturismo Ca'Mazzetto is located on the top of hill in the heart of the historical area of Coccorano of Valfabbrica between Assisi, Gubbio ansd Perugia. We are situated along the Franciscan Peace Trail. The farm is an ideal starting point to visit the lovely medieval towns like Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Spoleto, Spello, Orvieto, Montefalco or Trasimeno Lake or the natural park of Monte Cucco. In couple of hours you can also reach Rome, Florence and Siena or beaches near Ancona. In Valfabbrica town (4 km) there are all the basic services. (shops, bank, pharmacy, post-office). From 20th December 2006 there will be direct Ryanair flights from London to Perugia (San't Egidio),. This small airport is only 20 kms from our farm. You can find also cheap flights to Ancona (!,5 hours by car), Rome (2,5 hours) and Pisa (3,5hours).

the pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this farm - it is truly breathtaking and a beautiful peaceful place. our little family had a fabulous time exploring the farm and relaxing in its beauty. the hosts were wonderful people, and we enjoyed the warm, homey feel to the whole experience.
