This ancient convent stands in the countryside directly below Assisi, it dates back to the 13th century and is now restored to a rustic independent country house. The property is fenced off & offers: a panoramic terrace overlooking Assisi, a large swimming-pool (12 x 6) with solarium, a nice portico equipped both to cook & eat outside, air conditioning, covered parking & washing machine. Furnishings are rustic & comfortable & there is central heating. The house is divided into 2 parts: the main part has the ground & the first floor connected by an internal stairs. Four bedrooms have external access. GROUND FLOOR: sitting room with stove, 2 bathrooms, dining-room with fireplace, kitchenette with oven & dishwasher. FIRST FLOOR: 2 double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom with shower. With external access. GROUND FLOOR: 2 twin bedded rooms each with en suite bathroom with shower. FIRST FLOOR: Terrace, 2 double bedroom each with bathroom, sleeps max 19.

The country house 'Al Guado di Assisi' has a very central position from where you can explore every part of Umbria with it's medieval towns full of art treasures and nature. Only 1,5 kms from Assisi, ( there is a path also to go on foot), 15 kms from Perugia, Spello 8 kms,, Bevagna 12 kms, Montefalco 15 kms, Trasimeno lake 45kms, only to give some examples. Also Rome, Florence, Siena can be reached in a couple of hours by car , train or bus. Even if you stay green countryside all the services:shops, farmacy, banks, fitness center etc are only0,5-1 km from here. Near the holiday house there is a river and a lot of path to go for a walk or by bike. Nowadays you can have direst flight for Perugia (San't Egidio airport) from Copenhagen, very soon there should be flights also from Paris and London. You can use also the cheap low cost flight for Ancona, Rome and Pisa and arrive here in a couple of hours by car.
