Il Palazzetto del Monte is situated in a peaceful setting, with stunning views, on the Umbrian/Tuscan border, alongside the enchanting hilltop village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina. The house has been recently restored and furnished with considerable Italian charm and beauty, whilst ensuring careful attention to comfort and modern amenities to apartments, intimate restaurant and pizzeria and rustic bar. Swimming pool (6x18m with hydro-massage & baby pool), a sunbathing, a BQQ and a games areas, are available to the guests at no extra charge.

The swimming pool and living rooms offer exceptional views of the valley and mountains. Each apartment has a Satellite TV and a kitchenette with a 4x hob unit, fridge and toaster. Telephone and DVD & CD player can be supplied upon request, as well as all children's thinks, if necessary. All linen, kitchen utensils and dishes, hair dryer and cleaning items are provided. Furnishings are in period style, some of which are antiques. On the ground flour there is a rustic bar and charming restaurant-pizzeria, providing excellent dishes of the region. There is also a patio for drinks and alfresco dining. The restaurant is also open to non-residents. Our apartments can be let separately, or together. Years of painstaking restoration has ensured that the features and noble origins of the house, with it’s original stone fireplaces, terracotta floors, exposed stone walls, tile and chestnut-beam ceilings (even animal mangers and an oven from the 1800’s!), have been dutifully maintained!
