A fully restored traditional farmhouse with four independent accommodations each of which is absolutely private. But nevertheless, Santa Croce is also ideal for family reunions or small groups of friends wishing to be together. Originally, an old run-down and forgotten farmhouse, Santa Croce has recently been restored with great enthusiasm, love and care. The property has an excellent position and lies midway up the hillside with views over the valley in unspoiled countryside. It has good and easy access. The pool measuring 12 x 5 metres is set apart from the houses and offers sun loungers and umbrellas to provide shade. Santa Croce is looked after by a resident, English speaking, couple who are always on hand to help.

Il Noce is the largest of the two apartments Santa Croce can offer. It is light and spacious. The front door leads into a small entrance hall. The large living room is comfortably furnished with sofa and armchairs and features a traditional open fireplace. In the dining area there is a table and chairs to seat six. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker with 4 ring gas top, electric oven and granite worktops. Large bathroom with wc and walk/sit-in shower and hairdryer. Outside there are two furnished terraces which enable guests to enjoy - or avoid - the sun at any time of day. Note: Il Noce is fully wheel chair accessible.

Close to the Tuscan and Umbrian border, lying between the Niccone valley and the market town of Umbertide. The property has an excellent position and lies midway up the hillside with views over the valley in unspoiled countryside. It has good and easy access. The property is surrounded by olive groves and young cherry and walnut plantations and, during the months of May and June, the fields and hedgerows are filled with wild flowers. There is a lively market at Umbértide every Wednesday. All sorts of shops and supermarkets as well as recommended restaurants can be found in and around the town. All the famous historic places like Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Orvieto, Florence etc. are within easy reach. Or if you prefer to visit the rather unknown spots, we'll be delighted to share our knowledge of the area with you!

Deposit of 200 € will be requested for extra costs (telephone, heating, wood, washing machine, baby sitting etc., also damages). The deposit will be refunded within 14 days from departure, subject to any damage or additional expenses incurred.
