A fully restored traditional farmhouse with four independent accommodations each of which is absolutely private. But nevertheless, Santa Croce is also ideal for family reunions or small groups of friends wishing to be together. Originally, an old run-down and forgotten farmhouse, Santa Croce has recently been restored with great enthusiasm, love and care. The property has an excellent position and lies midway up the hillside with views over the valley in unspoiled countryside. It has good and easy access. The pool measuring 12 x 5 metres is set apart from the houses and offers sun loungers and umbrellas to provide shade. Santa Croce is looked after by a resident, English speaking, couple who are always on hand to help.

An external staircase, typical for Umbrian farmhouses, leads to the front door of this apartment, which opens straight into a large and spacious living/dining room. It features a sofa and easy chairs as well as traditional open fireplace and a dining table to seat six. The kitchen area which enjoys lovely views from its window is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker with 4 ring gas hob, electric oven and granite worktops. The small but modern bathroom has walk-in shower, wc, basin and hairdryer. In the garden, there is a terrace for dining al fresco and a tiny roofed loggia on top of the external stairs houses a small table and chairs for quiet moments!

Close to the Tuscan and Umbrian border, lying between the Niccone valley and the market town of Umbertide. The property has an excellent position and lies midway up the hillside with views over the valley in unspoiled countryside. It has good and easy access. The property is surrounded by olive groves and young cherry and walnut plantations and, during the months of May and June, the fields and hedgerows are filled with wild flowers. There is a lively market at Umbértide every Wednesday. All sorts of shops and supermarkets as well as recommended restaurants can be found in and around the town. All the famous historic places like Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Orvieto, Florence etc. are within easy reach. Or if you prefer to visit the rather unknown spots, we'll be delighted to share our knowledge of the area with you!
