Terracotta floors, original beams and shuttered windows, together with stunning views across the surrounding hills give it a true old world Italian feel. Its beautiful stone terrace shaded by a grape vine covered pagoda is the ideal place for alfresco eating or just relaxing with that glass of local wine, or why not soak up the sun on the gentle grassy slopes of the terraced natural garden with its olive, cypress and fruit trees. Ground floor: Kitchen/Dining Room, Small Sitting Room, Hall, Cloakroom, Outdoor Shady Terrace with Barbecue. First floor: One Double and One Twin Bedroom, Bathroom with Shower, WC. Bidet and Wash Hand Basin. Fully furnished and equipped with a Cooker, Microwave Oven, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Sky Satellite TV, DVD Player, Radio/CD/MP3 Player, Safe, Central Heating, Garden Furniture and Sun Lounges. Casa Lamponi Umbrian Hideaway lies deep in the heart of the Monti Santa Maria Tiberina countryside in the Upper Tiber Valley region of north west Umbria. Situated in a small hilltop hamlet surrounded by green and ancient woods, approached by a meandering white road from the valley below. This lovely restored stone cottage although attached by its attractive archway to the adjoining house, is private enough for that isolated holiday hideaway.

    The self catering accommodation sleeps maximum of 4 people and includes bed linen with weekly maid service, electricity and gas and local taxes. Bookings can be made by phone or email, a non refundable deposit of 30% of the total property rental is required to confirm a booking with the balance to be paid no later than 10 weeks before your holiday start date. A refundable security deposit of 300 euros to be paid on arrival.

Everything about our stay at Casa Lamponi was a wonderful experience. The house, the peace, the solitude, the views from the many pleasant walks, even the track up to the house.

I can only re-iterate what has already been said. Everything you need is at hand in the house it is immaculately kept, the terrace and the garden is a suntrap overlooking the tree laden valley. A really good holiday.

Casa Lamponi is a delightful little retreat from the cares of the out side world. The cottage has been beautifully and sympathetically restored with every need and comfort catered for.
