Casa la Selva is ideal for those looking for a relaxing break in the heart of Italy. Located on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, overlooking a quiet valley, Casa la Selva is perfect for getting away from it all, and a convenient base for exploring the area. There are five attractive bedrooms, three bathrooms, two spacious and comfortable living rooms and a large, traditional and well equipped kitchen/dining room. Outside there is a private swimming pool and large established gardens. Casa La Selva is available for private rentals, of one week or more for up to 10 people, throughout the year.

La Selva is set in the mountains and there are many good walks and tracks for cycling near by. Boat trips and sailing are available on Lake Trasimeno (25 minutes away by car). The nearest village is Spedalicchio (10 minutes drive). The towns of Umbertide, Trestina and Mertacale have supermarkets, cash point and general facilities and are about 20 minutes by car. Citta di Castello (25 minutes) and Perugia (40 minutes) have extensive facilities and many designer shops as well as great restaurants. One of the best places is to eat is Nonna Gelsa in Niccone (15 minutes drive).

Sitting Rooms: There are two sitting rooms, both with wood burning stoves. One room has Playstation 2 and TV, along with a selection of games and DVDs. The other has a CD player with selection of CDs and a number of books and board games.
