Villa Citerna is located just 1km from the ancient medieval hill top town of Citerna. It is an easy walk to the restaurants, bars and culture of Citerna. The villa is totally private with large grounds with a 16m by 8m pool (with own showers and toilets) located below the villa. This private location affords spectacular views over the valley that forms the Tuscan/Umbrian border. Patios and balconies surround the villa and there is a long drive (100m) from the road so peace and quiet are assured. The villa is surrounded by 5 hectares (11 acres) on which 2 ponies graze. Spirit and Pioggia are very friendly and love company and will most likely come and say hello. Although children and adults are welcome to pet the horses they are not for the purpose of riding. Citerna is ideally located for trips to Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Cortona and many more with Rome only 2.5 hours away. With notice given we can also arrange: motor cross, Italian lessons, cooking lessons and many more.

The villa is only 1km walk from the ancient town of Citerna. This hill top medieval town boast many fine restaurants and bars with superb views. Florence is only 1.5 hours drive away with Siena an hour and Arezzo just 20 minutes. Umbrian attractions of Assisi, Perugia and Terni are fast drives down the double lane E45 with Rome 2.5 hours further south. Seaside resorts of either coast are just less than 2 hours drive away.

Notes: The villa has a total of 5 bedrooms with one of the double bedrooms and bathrooms being in the annex, which is just next door. The master bedroom in the main building has a large ensuite bathroom. The villa is extremely spacious with a lot of living space, one main sitting room with a further two sitting areas, and a lot of private land. There are two lovely ponies belonging to the owners which graze on the land, these are not for riding purposes children, however are very welcome to play with them.
