Umbria Self-catering holiday apartment complex near Perugia Airport (PEG), is perfect for authentic Italian country weddings, family reunions or group holidays. Idyllically set amid sunflower fields and wooded hills in the Northwest corner of Umbria on the border of Tuscany, Il Convento Mincione, is an enchanting hideaway. This 12th century structure, has been thoughtfully converted into 7 totally unique luxury holiday suites. Each accommodation offers self-catering facilities for 2 to 6 persons; for a total of 8 double bedrooms (which can be separated into twin beds) with 10 en suite baths sleeping up to 16 persons in bedrooms and 8 persons on sleep sofas. Our large common room, available for banquets and group use at NO extra charge has a total seating capacity of 40 persons. This hall is tastefully decorated in rustic Umbrian style and facilities for various dietary needs (vegetarian, etc.*) are available.

Il Convento Mincione is the perfect hideaway - For Art Lovers- The medieval hill towns of Assisi, Perugia, and Gubbio, as well as Cortona are only 40 km (30 mi) away; Arezzo, Siena and Florence in Tuscany are just a 45 – 90 minute drive; For Wine Lovers- The world renowned wine trails of Montefalco in Torgiano; and the prestigious Brunello wineries of Montalcino in Tuscany are just a 1 hour drive. For Music Lovers – The Umbria Jazz Festivals in July and the Preggio Chamber Music Festival in August.
