Large families seeking comfort & accessibility will strongly consider making this villa their primary base for exploring central Italy. Villa Borgo Taverne has a private park ringed by tall pine, fruit & cypress trees. The pool is at least 50 feet long & comes with an adjacent pool house complete with a bath, a fridge & a barbecue. The garden, lawn & patio offer a variety of outdoor areas. The covered portico, ideal for breakfast, faces east as do all of the indoor living areas. Villa Borgo Taverne is spacious, charming & authentically Umbrian. The villa enjoys a kitchen with a large open fireplace, a PC with Internet access, a billiard room & a ping pong table. All of the villa's bedrooms have window screens. Two hours of daily maid service, is included in the price. A cook or a welcome basket can be arranged at the time of booking. When it comes to location, Villa Borgo Taverne is doubly blessed. The main attractions of both Umbria & Tuscany are within reasonable driving distances.

From the villa, a paved road leads right to the entrance of the Perugia-Bettolle superstrada in five minutes. Supermarkets, restaurants and shops are all within a 10 minute drive. Perugia or the shores of Lake Trasimeno are reached in 15 minutes; Cortona: 35; Assisi or Deruta: 40; Todi or Spello: 60; Siena, Gubbio, Florence, Spoleto or Orvieto: 90. But do take the time to visit the nearby villages of Corciano, Villa, Solomeo and San Mariano. They are utterly romantic and filled with the magic of “undiscovered Italy.”

Additional information about rental rates

  • Week starting on Saturday. Included in the price: weekly rental, electricity up to 300 KWH, water, hot water, two hours cleaning for five days a week. The final cleaning has a cost of euro 100.
    Discount for small group and last minute bookings, and in the event that booking is for more than one week.
  • Payment of 30% non refundable on reservation, balance due 2 months before rental period. In the event of booking cancellation 30 days before rental period, 50 % will be reimbursed. In the event of booking cancellation 29 to 10 days before rental period, 20% will be reimbursed. In the event of booking cancellation 9 days before rental period there will be no reimbursement.
  • A deposit of € 1000 is collected on arrival and will be refunded within 15 days from departure, subject to inventory check and deductions of any damage.
