However, unlike other mountain properties, Vista Del Mondo is at the end of a private lane, where our guests’ cars are the only cars on the road for miles. And, no struggling on stony roads strewn with boulders, in constant fear of a puncture !

Vista Del Mondo-APT R is the right hand side of Vista Del Mondo-Country House, which naturally divides into 2 sides, each with its own independant staircase and front and back entrances. APT R consists of a self-contained apartment on the upper floor and a self-contained apartment on the ground floor, both joined by the internal staircase. Both apartments have 1 large bedroom, 1 large sitting/dining room with fully fitted kitchen, including washing machines plus 1 shower room. Set in vast grounds, atop its own private mountain, with amazing panoramic mountain and valley views, half a mile from the famous Giro D'Italia route, there is plenty of space all around the house for the guests in each side of the house to enjoy total privacy from one another. APT L on the left hand side of the palazzo is bigger. Of immense historic significance, this palazzo is on the oldest pilgrim trail in Umbria, connecting Rieti and Grecchio to Assisi, 70 miles apart. We provide mountain bikes for free.

Vista Del Mondo is above a small village, Bazzano Superiore, one of the most sought after villages to live in, outside of Spoleto. Paradoxically, however, although Vista Del Mondo is higher than Bazzano Superiore, it is quicker to get everywhere from Vista Del Mondo, simply because of the good, private lane that comes almost to your front door. This lane joins the road that leads directly to all the Umbrian “hot-spots”. You can be driving on the Valnerina within 20 minutes, from where you can easily go to Norcia and the Gran Piano or to the Adriatic, passing a myriad of hill-top towns on the way. Or, in the opposite direction, you can be in central Spoleto in 20 minutes. Whichever way you choose to go, Assisi, Perugia, Orvieto, Trevi, Foligno…. are all well within a 45 minutes drive. And, the territory that you pass through is mind-blowing beautiful. The Umbrian countryside is what dreams are made of. And, Rome is just over an hour by train.

    The rate includes up to 6 persons - extra persons are 50 euros/week each.

You can walk or go by mountain bike through spectacular scenery and woods. And, the guests of Vista Del Mondo have access to this pool, all day, every day. Next to the pool is a very large fenced area for the use of children with swings and climbing frames etc. Naturally, children of the guests at Vista Del Mondo also have full-time access to this play area too. Palazzo Paradiso consists of 5 apartments. Please note that there is a toilet next to the pool. There are mountain bicycles provided free of charge for both Vista Del Mondo and Palazzo Paradiso. Please book a child's high-chair in advance - no extra charge. A mobile tel is provided for a refundable deposit of 100 euros - pay as you go.
